Thank you so much mam! But one thing I didn't understand about first function of trachea i.e support and patency ! Actually the layers of trachea like smooth muscle and cartilages jointly faciliates the breathing ...so Support and patency is not function of trachea but it's the function of these layers for maintaining the framework of trachea.. thus conduction of air should be the function of trachea instead of support and patency right ? am I correct mam?
