Daniel spent all season trying to outsmart Silver and just made everything worse. Disheveled Barnes shows up with the Simplest and stupidest idea and Silver ends up in jail. 😆

And Silver should have hard evidence of them doing so. On the other hand most of evidence againts Silver is much weaker. Really with current evidence it would probably be easier for a lawyer to keep Silver out of jail then to defend Johny and co.
Somebody brought this up last episode, but there's an interesting theory that Silver might actually been dying of a terminal illness and there's some parts in this season that want to make me believe it outside of "He's just old" - Seeming obsessed with wanting to leave a legacy - Him running into Johnny & Carmen at the hospital was never really clarified outside of maybe spying on them, but he could also be in for a check-up himself - His line "Youth is the only thing money can't buy" sounded strangely remorseful, as if he wanted to go back - The biggest one is his lines against Chozen in this episode, "I am not afraid to die" and "I was always meant to die on the battlefield", which is odd cause he never felt like a "I've got nothing to lose" kind of guy from his past interactions... unless he knew he was going to die soon - Even early in the last season, after saying he wasn't hungry, his chef immediately asked "Do you need me to get your medicine?" and we never see him taking medication again after Kreese came back into his life - Hell, he runs a toxic waste company, and that's never a safe job Anyway, love this season and I completely forgot this wasn't the last season when watching this until Kreese at the end lol

Yup. Miguel is the only person to not be beaten by Hawk or Robbie in a 1v1 fight while also defeating them both in fights. Kenny even told Hawk that he only won because Miguel got hurt (referring to S4 tournament).
Fun fact: That Rembrandt that Mike had in the back of the limo is actually one of the missing Rembrandts. It has a $12 million dollar reward for it's recovery. So not only is Terry Silver also going to go down for art theft, but Mike is going to build an awesome furniture store with the money he got from that.

Issue is that Daniel is fresh while Terry is pretty beaten since Chozen already beat him in a fight while Terry slashed a distracted Chozen who was also pretty drunk.

Yeah season 6 hasn’t fully been confirmed but they said they already have a bunch of ideas. The cast are off doing other projects but the writers said they will come back to cobra Kai
Seeing Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, and Mike together in one scene was awesome!! And seeing the 3 former rivals teaming up together was the best parts of the season!! I really thought Kreese died in this episode until it turns out to be a fake!! I'm glad Chozen survived and not die! Daniel got to use the legendary crane kick to defeat Terry! Johnny getting motivation to defeat the sensei's similar to how Miguel got confidence to defeat Kyler in the house brawl!!
The fact that we got all 3 villains from the Karate Kid Movies was the best thing about this episode because I never thought that this would be a possibility, seeing Johnny & Daniel becoming really good friends, and then on top of that seeing Johnny, Chozen, and Mike Barnes interact with each other, and it's so dope because they all went from hating Daniel to the point where they wanted to kill him, to now becoming allies and joins the fight with him, they all came a long way, it's insane. Season 6 when they are training for the Sekai Takai, I really do hope that Devon follows Tory to join Miyagi Fang, because it's about time for all of the main kids to come together and fight together as one, because this isn't just the valley, it's going to be all around the world, and the one thing about Kenny, I can see him having a redemption arc, because hopefully we see Shawn come back next season, and help his brother get back to the nice, sweet, caring kid that we saw back in Season 4 before Anthony & his friends bullied him. Back to the main kids, Imagine a team where we have all of the main kids Miguel Robby Hawk Tory Sam Devon Demetri Chris Mitch Bert Nate Anthony Possibility Kenny And the rest are nobodies. That would be an insane team, I don't see nobody beat them, Season 6 is going to be arguably the best season ever, because of the Sekai Takai World Tournament
I’m betting Master Kim (the granddaughter of Kreese and Silver’s Sensei) is going to take in Kreese to work along side her for the tournament next season. And if Kreese’s escape isn’t pardoned by his exoneration, perhaps Kim taking Kreese to Korea could be used as a plot point for Kreese to avoid re-arrest. I do wonder if there is going to be any significant teenage rival for the cast to face next season or if the focus will be on the antagonistic sensei, since every significant named student character has left Cobra Kai now.
That'll actually made an interesting contrast. Many of the kids right now have been training for anywhere between a few months to a couple years. Now there going to be fighting kids who probably have been training for multiple years. If that's the case, I can see Miguel, Robby, Hawk, Sam and Tory really struggle in the tournament.
It's ironic because back in Karate Kid 3, every time Daniel mentioned that he won the 1984 All Valley Tournament when he crane kicked Johnny to win, Terry was making fun of him for that, saying it's useless in a fight, pretty sure it was Kata, but still ironic how Daniel ended up beating Silver with the quicksilver method and the crane kick.
My one guess at this point about the point if the Mexico story is that maybe Hector shows up at the world tournament looking for fighters for his venue we saw.
I do actually think that Kreese meant what he said to the therapist because he realised in earlier episodes that lying to her wouldn’t work. So to get the key, the truth was the only way
I like how the gang are laughing, giggling, and messing around throughout the entire episode but when it came to mentioning Kreese's "death" near the end, all 3 of them froze
Season 5 was amazing and this was such a great finale! I really can’t wait for the next season, it actually makes me sad knowing the next one may be the last. All good things must come to an end though.
I feel that depends on not just what they wanna do but also who they wanna include. I'm not just talking about Chozen returning and hopefully Mike too as well as the chances that Julie Pierce may enter the fray. One thing that people have noticed is that Miguel may have left his backpack behind in Mexico.
That sword fight scene was insane, never thought I’d see anything like that in this show. I really hope they up the stakes like that with season 6 even though it’ll probably be kinda hard to do without being silly. But I think the Chozen vs Silver fight shows us that this show has the capability of having life or death fights in the future.
There's a theory that Silver is dying. W/ Silver running into Johnny at the hospital, Terry was there possibly getting some kind of health news but just happen to bump into Johnny then he put his game face back on. Talking about "leaving a legacy" to his partner then, basically accepting "death on the battlefield" by Chozen. Silver is way too perfect a villain for jail to be his end.
Best season yet. The payoffs the story, the action. If you woulda told me, that all of Daniels teenage bullies would ban together to take out his biggest enemy, I woulda thought you were crazy.
Same as how Chozen had to be drunk for Silver to have a chance lol same with his Silver had to sneak attack Johnny with a kick to the face to disorient him in their fight 🤷🏾♂️ Johnny already beat Kreese in a 1v1 fight twice; we know he can give Silver a fight in a normal setting. Johnny was even fighting multiple masters, same ones that sober Chozen and Johnny mentioned having trouble fighting 1v2 against in earlier episodes.
People saying Daniel beating Silver with the Crane Kick is corny when it thematically appropriate when it’s what Daniel used to win when Silver tried attacking with the trophy he cheated to win
Thomas Ian Griffith has been exceptional as Terry Silvers. His villain acting is so compelling, what a great addition to cobra kai. Lets hope a season 6 gets greenlit!
Best scene is when the three bad guys from the movies revert to their old ways in a sense of being super aggressive and physical because they are drunk. They all revert back to they old ways and I find it so funny as well as good. Barnes just was the spark to set them all off. Its what three former drunk bullies would do if they had a common enemy thats fucked up their lives.
Same thoughts. Relationship storylines don't always need to be messy. They don't always need to end in shit just for character development. Characters don't always have to be divorced too.
I know you didn't like the whole Mexico scene but I think we haven't seen the last of Miguel's dad. The takai tournament is a biggest tournament with the best fighters in the world and since Miguel's dad is in the Fighting business either somehow he be in that tournament or he could leave Mexico to go to the US to find fighters himself to make his own team and end up in LA and run into Miguel again not knowing that Miguel is a champion fighter

This was an awesome and huge finale! I'm glad I got to watch you guys' reaction to Season 5!! Seeing Miguel, Sam, Robby, Tory teaming up all together with the rest of the Miyagi-Fang's was awesome!! We get to see Demetri taking down Kyler! Now all 3 boys (Miguel, Hawk, and Demetri) took the guy who bullied them! I'm glad Devon defected Cobra Kai during the battle! I always prefer to the Miyagi-Fang side! Miguel and Sam got to say they love each other! Seeing Stingray taking down the cobras was awesome! Kenny did the right thing to realize his error of his actions!
In all 4 original Karate Kid movies, including the one without Daniel, Mr. Miyagi only gets hit once, by Chozen. Most of the fights, even when fighting groups of people, he does not take a single hit. In this final fight with Silver, in spite of all the lumps Silver has given him and having defeated Chozen, Daniel-san takes no strikes. Mr. Miyagi would be proud.

Sam brought up the necklace, and Miguel said the sacred word. Here's hoping to more of their dynamic (and romance I won't lie) in the next season. The painting at the end that Mike Barnes took is a REAL PAINTING that was STOLEN IN REAL LIFE and is missing. It is worth around $500 Million! So, this show is basically saying that Terry Silvers bought a stolen painting.
Well, nobody said he actually bought it... Hell, since Mike took it in the end, he could probably get away with selling it since if Terry would want to press charges, he'd have to explain why he has a missing painting in the first place lol
There's a popular theory going around that Terry has a terminal disease. Hence his obsession with leaving a legacy, his emphasis on not having kids,being in the hospital when Carmen and Johnny were there, etc. There's a few more potential clues scattered throughout the season.

The Mexico scene with Miguel is important because remember he left his backpack in Mexico in his dads house so he’ll be back in season 6 because he’ll find his info in there or something makes sense
I feel like the mexico part will make a play in the new season. Miguel’s dad was suspicious towards the end and Miguel never took his backpack with him after he left his Father’s place for the club. His dad might show up once he learns who Miguel really is
Don't know if any of the YT lawyer channels have said this. But if you escape from prison and you are then exonerated (wrongfully convicted). You go back to jail, cause escape from jail is a crime. Then if you lucky you will have a trial and hearing and it is up to the lawmakers. It will be a long process for you to eventually get out of jail "legally" from months to even years.
Remember, Terry's house was attacked and so was his Dojo.. With his money he won't see much time. In fact, the detective didn't say he's going to jail for a long time, he said his lawyers would be busy. I almost turned that shit off when they "killed off" Kreese. I fell for it hook line and sinker. I was like these lazy MF'n writers took him out like this... I'ma tell yall, when this show come out, I was like eh, I'll check it out for nostalgia. But wow, this has become one of my all-time favorite shows. Hat's off to everyone involved. What an amazing job they've did.

Season 5 was amazing and this was such a great finale! I really can’t wait for the next season, it actually makes me sad knowing the next one may be the last. All good things must come to an end though.

That sword fight scene was insane, never thought I’d see anything like that in this show. I really hope they up the stakes like that with season 6 even though it’ll probably be kinda hard to do without being silly. But I think the Chozen vs Silver fight shows us that this show has the capability of having life or death fights in the future.

There's a theory that Silver is dying. W/ Silver running into Johnny at the hospital, Terry was there possibly getting some kind of health news but just happen to bump into Johnny then he put his game face back on. Talking about "leaving a legacy" to his partner then, basically accepting "death on the battlefield" by Chozen. Silver is way too perfect a villain for jail to be his end.

Same as how Chozen had to be drunk for Silver to have a chance lol same with his Silver had to sneak attack Johnny with a kick to the face to disorient him in their fight 🤷🏾♂️ Johnny already beat Kreese in a 1v1 fight twice; we know he can give Silver a fight in a normal setting. Johnny was even fighting multiple masters, same ones that sober Chozen and Johnny mentioned having trouble fighting 1v2 against in earlier episodes.

Thomas Ian Griffith has been exceptional as Terry Silvers. His villain acting is so compelling, what a great addition to cobra kai. Lets hope a season 6 gets greenlit!
Best scene is when the three bad guys from the movies revert to their old ways in a sense of being super aggressive and physical because they are drunk. They all revert back to they old ways and I find it so funny as well as good. Barnes just was the spark to set them all off. Its what three former drunk bullies would do if they had a common enemy thats fucked up their lives.

I know you didn't like the whole Mexico scene but I think we haven't seen the last of Miguel's dad. The takai tournament is a biggest tournament with the best fighters in the world and since Miguel's dad is in the Fighting business either somehow he be in that tournament or he could leave Mexico to go to the US to find fighters himself to make his own team and end up in LA and run into Miguel again not knowing that Miguel is a champion fighter
Yes he’s in the fighting business but the ILLEGAL kind…the ones that has secret fights with gambling on winners. I highly doubt an underground mma fighting boss would show up at a global event that’s usually for teenagers doing karate

This was an awesome and huge finale! I'm glad I got to watch you guys' reaction to Season 5!! Seeing Miguel, Sam, Robby, Tory teaming up all together with the rest of the Miyagi-Fang's was awesome!! We get to see Demetri taking down Kyler! Now all 3 boys (Miguel, Hawk, and Demetri) took the guy who bullied them! I'm glad Devon defected Cobra Kai during the battle! I always prefer to the Miyagi-Fang side! Miguel and Sam got to say they love each other! Seeing Stingray taking down the cobras was awesome! Kenny did the right thing to realize his error of his actions!

In all 4 original Karate Kid movies, including the one without Daniel, Mr. Miyagi only gets hit once, by Chozen. Most of the fights, even when fighting groups of people, he does not take a single hit. In this final fight with Silver, in spite of all the lumps Silver has given him and having defeated Chozen, Daniel-san takes no strikes. Mr. Miyagi would be proud.

Don't know if any of the YT lawyer channels have said this. But if you escape from prison and you are then exonerated (wrongfully convicted). You go back to jail, cause escape from jail is a crime. Then if you lucky you will have a trial and hearing and it is up to the lawmakers. It will be a long process for you to eventually get out of jail "legally" from months to even years.
Remember, Terry's house was attacked and so was his Dojo.. With his money he won't see much time. In fact, the detective didn't say he's going to jail for a long time, he said his lawyers would be busy.
