    Great vid! I appreciate your analysis and also that you show your notable hands, not just your winning hands. The hands you lay down and the reasons for it are very helpful for me. Also, the turn "check" is such a powerful tool that I will utilize more, ready to call that river bluff! lol

    • @AeroPlaysPoker
      @AeroPlaysPoker  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most hands aren't strong enough to blast 3 barrels in a row, or your opponent's hand isn't strong enough to handle 3 bullets, so a check on the turn or river can sometimes actually lead to more profit. :D Which hand are you referring to specifically?

      All of Vegas in general is pretty friendly with vlogging. The Bellagio shut it down for a few months, but they've opened it back up again. I've actually found the pro percentage here in Vegas is higher than in other places I've played, but the cheap rake, deep stack buy-in, and cheaper cost of living make up for it.

      Sorry, all of my ranges are from personal experience. :) But basically, all unsuited connectors all the way up to K-10 are auto-muck for me as well as suited 2-gappers below perhaps K-10. Pocket pairs are good as long as you set mine with at least 10x implied odds.

      Alright so say you limp into a straddle for $5 with 6 7 suited on the button and a loose aggressive re raises you to $20, do you call? (I know raise or fold would’ve been the better play here, but I found myself in this situation the other day and I ended up folding.) But I regret folding after cuz I later realized he was reraising me with any 2 cards

    • @AeroPlaysPoker
      @AeroPlaysPoker  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@cactus9691 The answer to every question always depends on the stakes you are playing, how deep your opponent is, and how deep you are. If you watch my videos, you'll see on several occasions where I play 5-6 or 6-7 suited for $130 preflop, which is considerably more than the $20 you are asking about.
      In these instances, however, my opponents and I are usually $1500 deep or deeper. Does that mean call a $20 raise if your opponent only has $45? No, definitely not. What if your opponent only has $45, but another opponent calls first, and you and this second opponent both have about $500? Then in this second instance, I would say yes. You can call here.

Her check on the turn is procedural since you cbet flop, so it does not reduce the likelihood of a flush draw. She played the 54 pretty badly on the river. I would never play these hands especially in early position. However I don’t play deep stack poker only because I don’t know how to play big stack poker. It’s hard for me to believe playing trash in early position can be profitable but I could be wrong. 🤔

      @@paulboyd561 deep stack poker is a completely different beast than your typical home town casino 100 big blind game. You cannot judge if you've never even played at that level before. I learned this lesson the hard way when I played at the Wynn's uncapped 5-10 game. People would raise or 3-bet with suited, disconnected hands and completely obliterate me because I would put them on a different type of hand. Look up videos on being a Loose Aggressive player. Black Rain 79 has some good ones. You can also watch Doug Polk stream on the Lodge. Doug Polk is a massively successful loose aggressive player. You can watch his incredibly unorthodox plays.
      If you come in playing ABC, you will get destroyed by these loose aggressive players in a deep stack game.

      Boredom. The bane of all logical poker hands. This is not the first, nor will it be the last time I play a garbage hand and get punished for it lol.
