The G1 designs and look are eternal. Not every episode of the old show is great but some are really good and the characterizations and their interactions together really stand out.30 years from now people will still look fondly upon G1.The animation of the movie alone is incredible.Peter Cullen is Optimus Prime then and now and when his time is sadly over it will not be the same.
Nothing is more manly then on this blue planet than the Bush even Chuck Norris fears the power of the Stan Bush....all I gotta say this dude is on par with God......the most underrated and under appreciated artist in the universes history....... Long live the BUSH!!!!
Great music, I now have my two children who are 4 and 6 sigining along to The Touch. Everyday in hte car its, daddy, will you play The Touch. Love it so much.
Great track - and I agree with those that said they thought it was as-good or marginally better than the John Farnham original, as classic as that version is. I think the video is great - the 3D modelling is spot-on and is probably what the ink-and-paper artists at Hasbro back when G1 was new had in mind!! I also LOVE the shot-for-shot homage to the epic 1986 movie Optimus-Megatron battle... ...HOWEVER; I have to join the chorus when it comes to the animation. The overall movements seem to have the right idea - there's no obvious major flaws like disembodied limbs or non-collisions when two objects overlap, but the way in which those movements are performed is a little jarring and detracts from the 'realism' (insomuch as Transformers are real!!) It actually looks a lot smoother in 2x speed!! It seems the movements - especially throws and falls, take far longer than they do in reality, so look a bit slow and ghostly/mechanical. The other issue is around what in Flash is called Easing, but I don't know the 'official' term for it. The movements seem too constant, so a thrown object looks to move at the same speed at the start as it does at the end. As a result, none of the movements look like realistic motion: Everything has to accelerate and decelerate - even those arm pumps! I hope that's useful commentary for you guys. Not to be TOO cheesy, but you certainly have got The Touch™ :) and I'd much rather take time to let you know how I think you can get it to full-on awesome than just join the haters, or just as bad, say nothing and potentially lose out on some great work from you guys in the future :)
Even though the animation was a little stiff looking I enjoyed the visuals on this a hell of a lot more than anything Michael bay cooked up on a budget 1000times higher. And this just highlights what a waste bayformers was. With that kinda budget and with a better director who actually understands and appreciates G1 the transformers live action movies could have actually been good. The one not directed by bay was a glimpse into the sort of good movie we could have gotten had hasbro chosen better in the mid 2000s
He must have played multi-player, i got the dinobot DLC, all i just say is "Me Swoop bomb enemies-Me Swoop bomb clone-Me Swoop beat the sh#t out of clone! >:3"
yeah one that i think thats one of the best ever since now most of the TF series are making megatron good. also i think Transformers Fall of Cybertron is based off of Transformers Prime due to the fact megatron spent most of his time as a gladiator (he was called megatronis) before the cybertronian wars and orion pax (Optimus Prime obviously) was a librarian and became megatrons apprentice in the skills of fighting... seem familiar?
For all those who are here because of Family Guy...smh, lol... jump in a time capsule to 1986 and watch Transformers the Movie. Then listen to “Dare” and “You’ve got the Touch” by Stan Bush. I heard this song form the 1986 movie "Rad" performed by John Farnham. From my research it was written by Gloria Sklerov & Lenny Macaluso. Not sure if Stan Bush collaborated on this or not. Great version. He even sounds like John Farnham.

Stan did a good job. The original and still THE BEST VERSION was done by the flawless John Farnham made for the BMX 80’s movie RAD. Also, Break The Ice is another off that movie he did that’s just as good.

Good cover, need to do a cover of other songs of the like and include the touch and dare along with covers of this, you're the best(Joe Esposito), Moment of truth(Survivor), No easy way out(Robert Tepper), Hearts on Fire(John Cafferty)etc
