Over the years people wanted Filler to mature but it's time to acknowledge that he's just that: a talented child who will never become a man with integrity. His "explanation" follow-up post about the boycott only shows that he doesn't even understand the issue with his statements.

@Krushard what happened? Last thing I heard about him is he cheated at the US OPEN, which doesn't surprise me cause he has no integrity and is a child in a little , very little man's body.

I think it's interesting how happy someone can be to win a tournament where he only had to face one other world-class player, Chang, the whole event because other players had the integrity to follow through with what they say. He should be ashamed, and it's not a good win. 👎

@@sinner2460 “Good players” are not even close to the same thing as a field comprised of “world-class” players. If he made a mistake, he should have either accepted the consequences with integrity or profusely apologized for his oversight. Neither of those things happened. I know firsthand that josh is now more than frowned upon by many pro's and fans alike 😮 and not just those that really can afford to boycott certain tournaments!! At the end of the day, pressure from sponsors and the need and want to play and earn money- is not acceptable to me personally, just respect his decision whatever your stance. This will blow over, but he will for the foreseeable future have a target on his back 🎯

It should be the fans boycotting these events if the WPA is not stopping their regional governing bodies from banning players. Predator should be putting pressure on the WPA to allow these players to play in their events. I will not be buying anything else from Predator if this continues. I personally didn’t watch it besides the last couple of minutes since the field was not the best of the best. The players shouldn’t have to take such a financial hit by not playing. Going back on your word is not a good look when you end up winning the title in a field that would have been stronger if everyone else was there.

But now in the space of a month, amazed he went back on his word to play this event, especially after getting caught cheating in the US Open. What does he expect people to think of him? Which is why I was amazed he then made this lame a.f. decision to play this event after his statement. Giving the haters exactly what they wanted but even Europe fans like me who used to stick up for him are pretty disgusted now too. I think the decision will be remembered more than the devalued title, so was it worth it? Needs to look at SVB for a lesson in integrity, I'm afraid.
