    Clifton, your tutorials are awesome and your voice is so clear and calm you could make meditation videos too. I appreciate your "no nonsense" approach. I just bought Kadence and I am so excited! Moving from Elementor to Gutenberg. I would love to see more examples of different block functionalities and also hooked elements. Thanks for this awesome video. 🔥🔥

    Great tutorial Clifton, love your vibe and the fact you take all the time needed to explain so that even a Kadence noob like me can succeed after watching! 🙏
    But...
    I miss a crucial part in your tutorial: how to make the pricelist toggle between monthly and yearly price. As you know it is the standard for SaaS pricing tables.
    Do you think you could do a quick video on that precise point?

    Best ever your a legend love the pricing table. At first seeing your video I didn't think much about it. As in how awesome the pricing table would look. and it takes a long time to see the final pricing table. once I saw it I was blown away. If you showed the final product up front more I think you would get more people interested in your video. I think your really underselling how awesome your work is! Thanks a lot you helped me out huge

    Clifton, I just heard your interview. I spread it in some big WP community. I always thought you are the best teacher. But now I know how much efforts It costs you. And now you have become an even more worthy and significant person in my eyes. Anyone who thinks to start teaching others should first take a "beginner teacher course" from you. That's for sure.
    I never praised you for the voice (and diction) but now I do. It was the fist thing that attracts me. I am a bid fan of audiobooks (since I'm learning English) and I think you would have a great success in a voice-over field too. Try it some time.
    Waiting for your next awesome tutorial. Btw, could you make a video about Zion builder or Greenshift? It would be great!
    Greetings from Russia! :0)

    Pricing Tables + Request for quote

  • @GrantAmbrose
    @GrantAmbrose ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm so close to purchasing Kadence but I can't help but feel it would drive me a bit crazy to copy and paste styles on elements vs using classes (like how you did here with the pricing tables). Or, in practise, do you use custom classes?

    • @CliftonWP
      @CliftonWP  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you Grant! Both ways are possible. I understand how you feel and I went through the same thought process at first. However, I have gained a lot of time savings doing it with the copy paste method or using the copy/paste control in the short toolbar. Nevertheless, when it suits me I also utilize classes as well. One the best things about Kadence, once you get the hang of it is that is can speed up your workflow dramatically.

    Hey Clifton 👋🏻! Love your videos and your vibe 😁. I’m currently trying to follow along on your Magazine Theme tutorial. Would you consider selling access to your Kadence Cloud Library that includes the finished products/ assets you create in your TH-cam tutorials.
    I’d be willing to pay for the magazine theme you created.
    Ot could be an additional revenue stream for you that would be relatively easy for you to setup.
    Either way, thank you and I hope you keep making amazing WP/Kadence tutorials 👋🏻👍🏼🙏🏻

    When convenient could you pleae explain the difference between Paragraph text and DIV text

    • @CliftonWP
      @CliftonWP  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Tom! Paragraph text means that the text inserts a paragraph on the page and will be encased in the "" html tags. From a theme perspective the tags have certain css styling applied so when you designate the Advanced Text block as a paragraph, it automatically adopts the stying of a paragraph within the theme. This could include font size, line-height and bottom margin to separate the text from the next element. It's also has semantic meaning, which mean it identifies a paragraph of text to browsers and search engines. The "DIV" tag applies the "" html tags. A div is just a container for anything and by default has no semantic value, and typically has no styling till styling is applied. In the use case as a block in Kadence, when the advanced text block is designated as the ""tag for the block, it removes all styling from the text within, allowing you to style the block anyway you like.

    • @tomfraser3086
      @tomfraser3086 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CliftonWP ..Does that also mean that it helps keep DOM count down as it is not another container element ?

    • @CliftonWP
      @CliftonWP  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tomfraser3086 They are both block level container elements so they both count towards the DOM.
