Urgent motions Part 1: Intro

In Ontario, you can bring a motion for a temporary order in family court, but only after the first Case Conference has been heard. If there is an emergency situation where you need an order immediately, you can bring an urgent or emergency motion.
Lawyer Helena Birt gives us the background for urgent motions.
