I have so much respect for Kun for being so brave and sharing this with us. To those who don't know, Kun is extremely private about his personal life and struggles. He doesn't like to talk about it at all and previously refused to do variety shows because he wants to be known for his music. His pre-debut story in this vid really affected a lot of the trainees here because they have been through the same path as him. Many of the girls here have already debuted in the past and found no recognition or even the opportunities to perform on stage..Liu Xin is one of them. Cai Xukun however managed to overcome the pre-debut struggles and went on to become one of China's biggest megastars and a multi-mullion record seller all on his own without a company backing him up. Adding up all the shows that I've watched,Cai Xukun is one wonderful person.He won lots of essay competitions in middle school,his poems were really well written and he even ran in a race that was held for helping people with autism.He volunteered in many many social works as well and went to study abroad on his own. He said it was truly thanks to his mother who always took him to such places since he was a child and his grandparents took a huge role in his mature vocabulary.He also took huge leadership parts in his middle school standing next to the principal lowering flags or reading announcements and such.He was really kind to his fellow trainees and very selfless as well.Overall :he is a person that deserves so much more...PS I LOVE HIM SO MUCHH

Yes he is undergoing lawsuit that tine and with his success and popularity with Idol Producer, they tried to exploit more money from him. I believe he won the law suit and im glad he is doing better. I guess it also affected him how 9%, despite their huge success, was still not utilized properly unlike groups like Wannaone and IOI in Korea. I believed they only release 1 album and the members were given more solo activities instead of group activities. It's sad cuz 9% has so much potential :(
Like his music or don't like him, you can't deny the talent, passion, and hard work he has put behind the success he has gotten today. Like I still remember being so amazed by his perf in IP season 1 when I only came in to see Lay. How Lay did not have a single critique on him and said that he is a good example of balance that he was asking trainees to show him. How humble and helping he was throughout the whole season. The only one I think who came close to that was Liu xin from this season. I am glad that Lay believed in him and he did not give up. He deserves every bit of success he has gotten.
SWIN deserved better,honestly.I know that if they did well,we wouldn’t have had Kun on Idol Producer,Wu Muti never would have competed in Under 19,Liu Ye never would’ve joined R1SE,but still.SWIN honestly deserved better,Pelias (Yihai) can honestly just shut down.They never paid for SWIN’s concerts,album productions,or fan meets.Liu Ye is still under Pelias.I haven’t heard about the other members,but SWIN deserved way better than what they got.

I remember that during his idol producer days, he was especially busy because he was also fighting a lawsuit against his former company at the time? I don't quite remember if that's exactly the case so correct me if I'm wrong. Idk I just respect the guy y'know? Yes he is undergoing lawsuit that tine and with his success and popularity with Idol Producer, they tried to exploit more money from him. I believe he won the law suit and im glad he is doing better. I guess it also affected him how 9%, despite their huge success, was still not utilized properly unlike groups like Wannaone and IOI in Korea. I believed they only release 1 album and the members were given more solo activities instead of group activities. It's sad cuz 9% has so much potential :(

Like his music or don't like him, you can't deny the talent, passion, and hard work he has put behind the success he has gotten today. Like I still remember being so amazed by his perf in IP season 1 when I only came in to see Lay. How Lay did not have a single critique on him and said that he is a good example of balance that he was asking trainees to show him. How humble and helping he was throughout the whole season.
The only one I think who came close to that was Liu xin from this season.
I am glad that Lay believed in him and he did not give up. He deserves every bit of success he has gotten.

SWIN deserved better,honestly.I know that if they did well,we wouldn’t have had Kun on Idol Producer,Wu Muti never would have competed in Under 19,Liu Ye never would’ve joined R1SE,but still.SWIN honestly deserved better,Pelias (Yihai) can honestly just shut down.They never paid for SWIN’s concerts,album productions,or fan meets.Liu Ye is still under Pelias.I haven’t heard about the other members,but SWIN deserved way better than what they got.

Literally, people dont deserve him he has grown from all his hard work into one of the most humble and talented artists today. He went through so much criticism and setbacks from such a young age and mistreatment after mistreatment from companies not doing their job, he finally got to reach his dream thanks to himself and support from amazing people like Lay and his nine percent members. Watching him grow has made me so proud to finally see him live his dream. His determination and passion for music honestly makes him an inspiration to trainees like how lay inspired him. I see so much of lay in kun from the way he teaches to the way he gives advice, its amazing how he is now the pd of the show he was a trainee on two years ago. hope more people will recognize him and appreciate him for who he is not just the guy standing next to Lisa like a lot of these new viewers that are lisa fans see him as.
