This was YD's strategic point. If you observed this 2nd SET's 6th board. There were YD's 6 blacks and SD's 1 white carrommen. YD may have visualized that though he pockets 6 blacks then YD's score will be 13points. Less than SD's 14points. Game was already over, hence instead of wasting time & energy, YD may have decided to pocket 6 blacks, he pocket 1 white and closed that 2nd SET to start the 3rd SET with a fresh mind to focus on clear vision to win the 3rd SET.
