So much fun! That small table with chair was a telephone table-the opening was to hold the phone book. I never got to see the Beatles because I was too young (for once lol). My older brother and sister went though, and they said it was crazy noisy from all the girls screaming. I love Peanuts too! I read an article this morning that said Snoopy’s ‘parents’ were the only ‘adults’ ever shown in the comic strip. I thought that was great. Thanks for taking us along! ❤

Yes to the tied quilt growing up. My Dad used to sing the song Mountain Dew. Beautiful items today. I especially liked the Lofton vase with the applied fruit and the mint colored dish.

Kelly, I loved quite a few things, especially the Beatles book. Yes, I was a Beatle’s fan., my favourite Beatle was George Harrison. I have quite a few of Beatles albums and one of George Harrison ( All Things Must Past). I didn’t get to see the Beatles, but I did get to see Paul McCartney and Wings, when Linda McCartney was still alive. I saw them a few years after I moved to England ( 1995).
I have a special place in my heart for needlepoint footstools, my grandmother used to needlepoint and my dad managed to fit it on a footstool he made in school.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video, was a nice change.

Guess what YES!! our precious Mom took us to see ELVIS not once but TWICE ....we are from Fort WORTH Texas and they announced 6 mos b4 His appearance. Mom called and was put on waiting list then they called her & sent the tickets She must of charged them ". Once in Fort Worth convention center once in BIG D ...DALLAS we drove all the way over fr West side of Fort Worth..it was quite an experience ...I will NEVER FORGET HOW FABULOUS HE WAS & SWEET.....Mom💖had had major surgery around one of these concerts but she climbed those balcony steps one by one slowly I was right there w her I always wanted to tell ELVIS what my Mommy did for him !!

Hi Kelly, yes, my grandmother would sew little square pieces of material together with her finger and make quilts. I have several of them. Those were the good old days.

Yes, I saw the Beatles in Seattle in 1965. I saw them but could not hear them with all the screaming. After we left the concert we could barely hear each other!

Kelly- could not wait to tell you what I found for my brother in law ( my husband’s twin) at the Ft. Lauderdale Habitat. He really needed a sofa bed for his den. I found him a brand new Ethan Allen queen leather sofa bed with the air mattress. They even had the air pump! Would you pay 1200.00 for a 5500.00 sofa. What a deal. You are so right- it always pays to visit, so many new things. He is very excited!!

My mother used to tie her quilts too. Because she did not have a quilting frame to actually quilt it.

Kelly, this certainly was a treat. What a beautiful place to shop. Talk about apple butter that was something my Mom made for us growing up. She also made a delicious peanut butter bread and I've asked her many times for the recipe but at 92 she doesn't recall what happened to it. I love all the vintage clothing and the books were a great deal. TYFS

This is such a lovely shop Kelly. I wish it were closer to me. I would love to go shopping there. As to your question, I am a huge Beatles fan! My favorite Beatle was Paul and I still have a small Paul McCartney doll (amongst other things). They were a very important part of my adolescent life. I didn't get to see them in person (I was too young and couldn't talk my Father into taking me), but my cousin and I sat on the sofa and watched them on the Ed Sullivan show, and screamed along with the ones who were there. 😄Thanks for showing us the book about them.

It's.. funny you should say that . I did have a heart attack and believe the only reason I survived was because I was clogging. Lol arteries too! Heart trouble runs in the family and my dad died at 47 from a heart attack. Clogging gives you a good cardio work out, still here 15 years after triple bypass.🙏👍💕

We have The Painted Pony, The Shops at Riverwalk, and other one. here in our town. The Painted Pony has a huge variety but a lot of antiques. The Shops is more modern type products, teas, coffees, clothes etc. The egg shaped looking vase, I have two but different patterns, from my mother in law. Those tied quits, slept under them growing up. I have my last one she had made for me. Yeah, Kelly, that Mountain Dew would light a fire in ya. You should check out a TH-camrs “The Pressley girls” and their Parents, Celebrating Appalachia. Mountain folk in the mountains sorta down towards Georgia. I have a letter press piece that’s really old. 😊❤

One Christmas I got the bright idea of making raggedy Anne and Andy dolls for my 2 girls and their 3 cousins. I made 12 with the outfits! I think I must have lost my mind, lol.
