    I’ve done several buddy 50’s that easily do over 45mph. Just picked up a 2022 roughhouse. I check for restrictions in tHe exhaust and variator and remove them. Add a scooterworks exhaust withe the fuel jet they suggest and two smaller jets. Check spark plug after a couple long runs and go down with jet if needed. Super zippy and fast all stock except exhaust and jet. $140. Can’t miss works every time

      There's a popular "Chinese" scooter site here called "Direct Bikes" that sell Chinese scooters in the UK, and there is one almost identical to this one in the video, but it's a 4 stroke GY6 and the paint is gloss finish and not as nice as the Matte finish on this one. Overall it looks a bit tacky in comparison so presumably it's a copy of the PGO or something along those lines.

      Occasionally a used 50cc scooter will come up for sale nearby, but they have always been thrashed or smashed to peices by the previous owner.

      I can't remember. It was just mat black paint I found in Autozone. I'll see if I still have the can. 600 is a great deal. People think that because the RH does not carry a brand name like Yamaha or Honda that it is Chinese, these scooters are just as good if not better than 50cc scoots by honda like the ruckus and yamaha like the zuma. I think these engines can last for 30,40k miles with just basic maintenance. I am actually taking a road trip around the Michigan lake tomorrow, around 220 miles. I'll post a video. @Hoc Del Negro I think 900 for a Roughhouse is an amazing deal. I have ridden the Zuma 50 and the 125 and they are nice scooters, however, I believe that the 2015 model has a 4 stroke engine. The roughhouse has a 2 stoke which at least in my opinion is a better option for a scooter. 2 stroke engines have fewer parts, are lighter and the fact that they complete the cycle in 2 strokes means that theoretically the 2 stroke engine of the same size as a 4 stroke engine will get you double the power. They are not as fuel efficient (90mpg for a RH vs 120 for a Zuma) but that is not a huge deal to me.
      As for a direct comparison between the two scooters, I think both are a good option but a roughhouse is a better deal. The roughhouse is made by a company out of Taiwan called PGO (they once made scooters for Vespa and Piaggio), they make quality scooters that are sold all over the world. I do not think that a 2015 Zuma at 1400 is a better deal than a 2018 RH for 900. I have close to 4k mile on my RH and have had zero issues. (A few, but they were my faults, dead battery, replaced the brake lever because I broke the original).
      The zuma might have more mod options as it is more popular, it will likely get better MPGs and you get the brand name. With the RH, you get a very peppy 2 stroke engine. Reliability I would say is the same, same for the build quality, and design is a personal preference. RH has a higher seat positioning and more legroom too.
      If both were well taken care off, I'd het the RH because you save 500 dollars and do not lose on anything. Hope this helps.

    • @nemanjatosovic
      @nemanjatosovic  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Hoc Del Negro So you got the RH or the Zuma?
      My kick star does not always work. Especially when the bike is cold, it can be a pain to start but that is normal.
      If you electric start did not work its mostly because of the battery. Try kick starting it first tomorrow, you don't always get in on the first try, sometimes it takes 3,4,5.. when it starts, ride it for a little bit so the battery charges, after use the electric starter as usual.
      New battery is around 25 dollars so no big deal, how did the bike run? I'm uploading a new vid tonight so you can hear how mine runs.

      stauf09 You are correct. It always cracks me up whenever I see someone go to the trouble of blurring their license plate number for a TH-cam video and then they get in the same vehicle and drive it around the country displaying the same license plate on the front and back for the entire world to see. Plus, I can’t remember a time when I applied for credit and the financial institution said, we would love to give you a big loan but before we can do it, we need the license plate number off your moped 🤦🏻‍♂️.

    Funny little machine, with all the bulky and fat and oversized components, until.....we get to the engine, and then we realize that it's from a child's toy. Uh Oh.
