Very nice drive tour around the city, Sir David. Very clean, lots of trees on the road. I really enjoyed watching because it's first time to watch Melbourne City. I'ved also seen clarendon street flash on the screen. I really love sightseeing, relax and watching the roadtrip. I really love it.

Yes its clean ...there are some homeless in city I saw same ones for last 7 years they make more money from begging than social security...there is housing shortage I admit but the homeless in the city 70% of them are totally fit to work
Actually when u live there for years and years you take it for granted. You dash in and out of the city without aesthetically admiring the serenety and the beauty of the place. This is what happens to many melbournians. Seeing the same from camera's eyes is so different.
@@perosg21 yes totally correct I'm the same working in city and taking every moment for granted you dont see these detailes that camera captures and I ll promise you to deliver even better footage as I'm gaining more experience..My obstacle at the moment is lack of time and concentrating on these small detailes and vlogging in near future is my plan.... At the moment I keep up the channel and do my best to squeeze something from my surroundings 3 times a week..Best wishes my friend plz come visit me and say hello...David

Hook turns in the city are so dangerous due to trams. A little overlook and collusion is certain to happen. Thanks God Melbournians are use to hook turns. I avoid driving to the city. Trams and trains are the best.

Melbourne was established pretty much the same time as Chicago early 1800s Melbourne was the richest city in southern hemisphere back then due to to Gold Rush in this area

Thanks David, I really enjoyed Clarendon Street, South Melbourne toward Albert Park Lake.They have restored all the old buildings beautifully.Easy on the eye and not super busy.Did you film on a weekend?Early Sunday? People all look casual.Beautiful weather too.thanks again.
The streets are wide , however some have been reduced to narrow streets to accommodate bicycle lanes and tram safety barriers and to slow cars down . Melbourne City Council want to see less cars in the city to make it more pedestrian friendly and creating "skinny streets" is one method of doing that . This video was probably taken on a Sunday when there is less traffic about .

Very nice ride, crowded city, beautiful building with the watch tower.
It gets more crowded crowded especially around lunch time sometimes it takes me up to 45 minutes just to drive out from the city after work at 5pm
