54 years ago our family immigrated to USA from Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Me and my brother get drafted into service. I was in US army and my younger brother sign up to the US Marine Corp serves 1 year tour in Vietnam and I was stationed in Germany. We both are very proud to serve our great country. Hope one day the CCP China topple and free Hong Kong.

The first time I ever heard this song was on the radio when driving 51 miles home from work on 9/11/01. Every business that had an American flag displayed and them at half-staff. I cried all the way home.
I need to say this about Home Free... If there's anyone that reads this post that hasn't seen them live, PLEASE do yourself a favor and go if the opportunity comes your way! These men sound just as amazing live, (maybe even better!) as they do on a studio recorded song! I saw them December 20,2018 and it was my 8th time seeing them and they truly get better each time! This was their Christmas concert and when they sang 'I'll Be Home For Christmas", it legitimately made me sob. During one of their concerts a few years ago they sang this song and before they started it, they asked if there was anyone in the audience that had served or was serving presently in the military, to please stand up. They then asked the rest of the audience to thank them with applause and proceeded to sing this song. The wonderful people who had served or are currently serving, saluted throughout the entire song and most people there, if not all, were in tears. I can promise you, there weren't many dry eyes in the room after that song! It was the most touching show of gratitude and appreciation I've ever witnessed! Home Free is once in a lifetime! ❤️ ❤️

The first time I ever heard this song was on the radio when driving 51 miles home from work on 9/11/01. Every business that had an American flag displayed and them at half-staff. I cried all the way home.

I need to say this about Home Free... If there's anyone that reads this post that hasn't seen them live, PLEASE do yourself a favor and go if the opportunity comes your way! These men sound just as amazing live, (maybe even better!) as they do on a studio recorded song! I saw them December 20,2018 and it was my 8th time seeing them and they truly get better each time! This was their Christmas concert and when they sang 'I'll Be Home For Christmas", it legitimately made me sob.
During one of their concerts a few years ago they sang this song and before they started it, they asked if there was anyone in the audience that had served or was serving presently in the military, to please stand up. They then asked the rest of the audience to thank them with applause and proceeded to sing this song. The wonderful people who had served or are currently serving, saluted throughout the entire song and most people there, if not all, were in tears. I can promise you, there weren't many dry eyes in the room after that song! It was the most touching show of gratitude and appreciation I've ever witnessed! Home Free is once in a lifetime! ❤️ ❤️

My parents took tremendous risk in coming to the USA from Cuba in the 60s. My brother and I were the first in my family to be born in this great country. I’ll be forever be grateful to them! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 My father passed away last year with a Purple Heart from the US Army and with beautiful military honors at his funeral.
