Using Your PIV Card to Enter the NIH Campus

NIH has installed new PIV Card Readers at vehicle and pedestrian entry gates that now require all employees, contractors and affiliates to remove their PIV Cards (HHS ID Badges) from the protective holder, place the Card flat against the face of the reader, and wait for a beep and green-light to signal that the gate or portal is open.
