- Please watch Kedar's Ted Talk on creating Games to Solve Problems - Kedar's Ted Talk Sept 2016 - • Create Games to Solve ...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since June of last year (2015), Kedar has been taking his joy for programming to multiple Maker Faires across the East Coast. He received much encouragement and support from grown ups and kids alike who participated in coding events at his booth. Their encouragement, particularly from an adaptive services Librarian from the DC Govt Library inspired him to solve a real life problem using code. He created a 3D code board game called Storibot. His game has tactile code pieces that the visually challenged community can use to learn programming. Kedar’s efforts won him the Young Inventor Challenge, in the junior category, at Chicago Toy and Game Fair in Nov 2015. Watch him explain his invention to Mr. Steve Harvey on NBC at the Little Big Shots Week event on April 25, 2016. Keep in touch with us at www.littlecodeninja.com. When I broke my Nintendo Donkey Kong game at the age of 7, I got my butt smacked good. No one told me about coding, but dang that was like 25 years ago.
I can relate. Ages and times are different my friend :)

I love this kid, I could have used him when I was a systems engineer. Instead I had a bunch of idiots that wanted to prolong the development cycle to make themselves seem needed.
he is better then my computer teacher!
I didn't understand one word ...... He is smarter then me ... LOL
With this passion, I can see a great programmer in you.
His voice is so cute, he can do Disney voice overs
Proud of be an Indian. We love our great family values and in that values kid feel secured and gets most of space to grow himself/herself..
indians kid are always sharp on computers coz they eat a lot of 'chips'
That kid is reflecting Indias future.... and a nice mom like one I got.... love u moms 😊😍
so cute and extremely smart 😍😍
That's how I learnt to code... when my dad hid my computer games and left in plain sight, some 'qbasic' and 'let us c' books instead with headings like "make your own computer games". Only, I was in 7th or 8th grade then 😂😂😂 (this was in 1990s)
this kid is the next big thing.
Code is not that hard with the block method he is using but if he knows number methods than yay that is very hard for a kid his age.
lol he's seven, kids that age cry not to go to school and here he is inventing some things xD
That kid is amazing
God bless him and his good parents
Steve Is so sweet man, Love you

Every Indian smart than Einstein 😄😄😄
Indian people, especially the guys, you need to stop giving yourselves ugly haircuts! You guys are good looking can't you see there is no need for that super close cut? Long hair softens the face and brings out your features
They kid is extremely articulate
1.09 When Steve Harvey realises that a 6 yr old is smarter than him.
Lot of "proud to be Indains" in the comments
yeah that teaches the concept of coding lol...... The concept isn't the hard part to understand xD
When the game explain the algorythm for the bear to go up three left 2 and up three and then figure out if it's touchign the rabbit or not then I'll be impressed.
Although I am impressed as it is.
He is working on it . Will share when he is done :)
upplsuckimcool16 , the algorithm might be hard, but the more challenging thing is to help and share with others, what you know. Kedar has been teaching at several events over the past year. It doesn't matter whether you are good at code, you may be a very kind person and might do your part mentoring young kids at "Big Brothers Big Sisters of America" or bring your passion to life by making it useful to people around you
Well maybe for some people the concept is easy to understand. But there are some people who struggles at something you think is simple. (Like me lol). I hate coding but it's one of my compulsory subject in my university course. So this board game is interesting and useful for someone like me.
very gud
am I the only indian who sucks at math
Next Mark Zuckerberg ?!!
I have no understanding of his coding
K dawg
best :)
Only
he sounds like apu
This kid is more articulate than 99% of the adults out there, including me lmao
I was very impressed that when he ran into a problem with his game, his mother did not say to put the game away or told him too bad, better luck next time. She actually took the problem and dealt with it right then and there and taught her child how to overcome and fix the problem. She got him involved with the problem solving and taught him something new.More importantly she got to spend some one on one time with her child which is the most significant and crucial thing a child needs when growing up.
why indians are good in computer tech..??
Kevin Raymond Khoo learn Sanskrit or any language that is designed frm Sanskrit.
Kevin Raymond Khoo we love technology in India , and when we love something we need to know everything about it
Kevin Raymond Khoo lol I am a programmer and an Indian. we love computers that's why we are good at tech we have got a great passion towards coding programming. we take everything serious about computers man. south Indians are more good at computers tech science and maths north Indians are good at finance and business
Kevin Raymond Khoo we are good in excersising our right and left hemisphere of brain effectively
Kevin Raymond Khoo , well because it pays well to be a computer engineer. we are a science and technology loving nation, but there are not many opportunities to delve into other fields. therefore so many computer engineers
God bless this child. :)
Thank you Imran!
