- Heavy rainfall flooded homes and streets of Dubai after it received a year’s worth of rain within hours. Massive traffic jams were observed on Highways and streets as rainwaters halted several vehicles in the middle of the roads. People were seen pushing cars in waist high flood water. Floodwaters entered major luxury malls in the city.

Dubai Architects and Engineers were not familiar to heavy drains. Usually, it is dry when I pass the city. Hopefully no one is injured.

Another example of an ineffective rain water drainage system, which was not planned or thought during the initial development stages. What a mess!
It's a City in sand , u cannot built drainage system in a sand city bcoz it gets blocked by sand within one hour and will cause more problem than solution , it's been tried before a numerous times and failed badly , people lecture on all topics nowadays but hardly have any real knowledge
