I did this in my LC in 2023. Tied a tarp to the roof rails and pen as standard for the rest. A nice shelter out of the sun. I could do with one of those portable flushing toilets though, as the basic one i have was not ideal.

Real nice Land Cruiser. Simple setup, sometimes that’s what ya need to unplug and enjoy the great outdoors. I love that Sol is as dramatic as my doggo Elvira. Sorry I missed ya at Overland Expo, but I was unplugged in the NF between Sedona and Cottonwood. Did ya get drenched with rain or pounded by hail on Friday? That was some crazy weather! Take care

Surprisingly a lot more comfortable. I think both suspension and solid axle helps with ride quality
