- This is what engineers try to do. Thankfully they are stopped by "laws" and "morals".
Thanks to everyone who made me levels!

I'm looking to make some more vehicles very soon, what do you want to see me try?
A working airplane
I don’t know if you’ve already made, this but maybe a working mech? Just a thought 🤔
There seems to be an antigravity glitch, but I'm holding off on using it until we understand how it works
How about a transformer?
I know you did it on Main Assembly but now do it it in Poly Bridge
how about a "normal bridge" that actually turns into a car or something
That second level...
If I were put in prison and told I only get out once I've beaten this level, I'd be a lifer...
The second level's budget is pi fun fact 3141592
You could do it eventually with trial and error. But it may be 3 months instead of 3 hours
I was thinking this exact same thing
man forced to learn entirey of engineering through polybridge to get out of jail
Mathil1 beat this level blindfolded
Me: You start with the road, and then you build supports
RC: You start with the Peaucellier-Lipkin mechanism, and then you build Scott Russell linkages
Some of the artwork on the levels is incredible
It's really amazing, I'm glad that my logo works so well as a level😂
Yeah its realy impresive
That second level final pathway looks similar to a gamecube opening where it follows the weird path that forms the shape of your logo before showing the whole thing lol
That could be a really cool channel intro
Yeah now that you mentioned it…
Me looking at the thumbnail: Oh he made that giant thing with just 4k, amazing!
Me taking a second glance at it realizing what it actually was: 4 MILLION WHAT
According to Poly Bridge 2 physics, the Eiffel tower should be violently vibrating, logic be damned.
I think the reason why the thin arms you originally used started wobbling is because of the no break mode. When the steal pieces break, they obviously have to rotate in a direction; so when the extremely large amount of stress it was put on it, I’m guessing a tiny glitch or programming oversight where the stress limit was gone over, so the tiny rotation of a rotation would be fine if it was braced completely, but because it was loose, the wobble made a feedback loop of a slight wobble- slightly larger wobble- slightly larger wobble- continue until bridge breaks. (I could be wrong, but that’s just my theory)
Makes sense.
It's a game theory
My first thought is also floating point calculation error
i can't believe you managed to go over budget on a 3 million limit
my only comment is damn
you hit this game in an different way
Level goes hard feel free to screenshot
ayy glad that you liked the level :3
yoooo
Currently taking dynamics in college rn, this video gave me the chills
i watch you in the night to fell a sleep! Not that your videos are boring, I actually love your videos, but your voice is very calming and it actually helps me with my sleep. Keep the same energy and awesome content!!!
you will absolutely love nilered then
he has a similar voice and has similar humor but with chemistry so something that a normal person would freak out over he just says "its probably fine" anyways check him out lol
I love how the budget on the second level is pi!
3:19 “Everything gets across“
*bridge collapses right after*
I have no idea how Reid Captain's ideas always work, but i still Wach them. Do i know what's going on? no. Do i enjoy whatching those videos? yes
Glad to see you're continuing the series!
I would like to see you play Evolution Simulator. Just to clarify, it’s that 2-D game with the red joints, black bones, and red and blue muscles. This game would probably be very similar in design to poly bridge, meaning you could use linkages and other mechanical systems
Team APA (Arglin, Palfly, and Alison) really do out there be making crazy stuff
Ew a furry, get the flamer
@@THESLlCK srsly? the *actual* furries who made this stuff are in the comments. i dont fall into that camp
I really like how first bridge disappears at the end. LMAO
The Tension on the cables were causing physics bugs similar to when you create rotation with springs.
The lvl looked particularly exciting at 9:38.
"just using wood" - literally uses several hydraulics....
3:19 i cant stop laughing and replaying
Nobody:
The bridge: "every my centimeter is overloaded by 375% more than physically possible and technically acceptable, but the owner said I should do it, so I will do it!"
With that second level, I can only think. "Ah yes, my daily commute"
This… yeah. That is a wild piece of construction
Love your vids. ❤️
this was almost reminiscent of those ball videos that go around the house with carefully put together roads and structures
Rube Goldberg machines? Marble runs?
This is the most epic man in existance
What an absolute gamer
Wow! I didn't understand anything but thats very cool
that was simply incredible
nothing about that was simple
TRUE INVERSE KINEMATICS applied on 2nd level the creator is a genious
That video description is beautiful lmfao
The part creating the bridge is like me making a blanket fort
the last level is just
"I understood nothing but that looks pretty cool"
Imagine seeing a brige like this in real life
A random guy loading into a vr world realizing he has to drive this whole thing 🥲
This is the video I show to my mom describing that I'm watching S C I E N T I F I C R E S E A R C H
Enjinerin
@@ReidCaptain ye babi I enjinir leyk piro
wonderful
Imagine the people in poly bridge when some maniac makes a bridge like this... oh and yes imagine just having a normal car trip and you just get flipped upside down and crash
anyone notice the budget on the second level is pi (3.141592)?
What would you even look up to learn more about these mechanisms and linkages and stuff
I have been compiling a huge planar linkage repository of mechanical linkages since February of last year, and I've shared it with Reid! It's over a hundred pages long now, haha.
Some of the very basic mechanisms are well documented and you can find them all over the internet. Some of the much more complex mechanisms required quite a lot of extensive researching, and sometimes we even invented new mechanisms exclusively for Poly Bridge to do the job.
You can find a lot of the mechanisms he is employing in his videos from that repository. A link can be found on my latest video, or on his Discord server, where it's a pinned message in the channel for Poly Bridge discussion.
Epic vid
It’s crazy how you make all these insane videos… yet somehow you only have 164k subs???
I’m subbed!
I like your content
Thanks!
You are awesome
Nice
Bruh how does this man think of this stuff
make a mech that picks up a semi, (or the heaviest car in the game) breaks through a vertical bridge, (must be able to support the car for 2 meters) and then throws the car to the flag. (200 meter throw
Saying the second one is the most difficult feels like you forgot about RCE’s tower fally downy plany flyee 3 stage bridge from last year
bruh link?
We desperately need a 2.0
when i watch this i feel like the most dumb person on earth i love the vids but i dont understand anything i see funny machine thing that works in a bridge building game and i love it
So apparently the Kraken from KSP is in Poly Bridge 2 too?
10:16 I’ve seen this before… does this mean…? No, it can’t….
THE KRAKEN HAS ARRIVED IN PB2!
So it begins..
When will you continue the Desmos game series?
Hey Arglin is also in other ytbers videos
A flywheel powered vehicle. Make it sick please, thank you.
I could try out some new linkages for that, sounds cool!
Cool
Cooool
How long did it take to beat that level?
around 4 years i'd imagine
I wonder how eazy it can get when you gat at least 10 hydraulic
do the second one without unbreakable mode
Have you made a trebuchet in Polly bridge
Ever wonder how the drivers feel?
how do people figure this out holy
2min notif thx youtube
Alternate game name, NASA engineering
Can you make a bobit worm in poly bridge? Probably not hard knowing you
He went over budget when he had 3 million dollars
How's the scrap mechanic computer going?
Can you please make a automatic bridge building machine you can also watch some real life bridge building machines video
Man am I early
Edit: oh wow that's a crazy level
First two minutes!
Hi Reid
I can't be the only person that realized that your budget is Pi(x 1 mil) 🤷
Ok is it me or does this sound like he is an actual engineer bruh
he is
bro you made a clock work bridge
My friend said the same thing when I first showed the level to him lol
overbudget smh my head
What happened to the game in Desmos?
Bro I want to share a map with u in poly bridge I have made a drone that can take off from the ground u can also controll it with hidrolic
You should try to make something in people playground
You’re a mad man………
Imagine if poly Bridge 2 Bridges were used in real life.
Equivalent of plastic fork in cup ramen
yea
Spending a tons of money to build a one time use bridges.
This is how my parents got to school
Do people have to solve levels to upload them?
You are intended to, but you can glitch it to upload anything you want. Fortunately in this game it's reasonably clear if something is beatable from the get-go
you sound like a more enthusiastic nilered

Wow
IT WAS OVER BUDGED 😮😮😮😮😮
15:57 are you human?
375th, feels good :))
I was 1st :)
Is nobody going to menion that the second level budget is pi
🤯 I got lost
hi
