imagine a trap where the victim is stuck in a room with several disposal bins, one of them leads to freedom and the rest launch the victim into space, if they dont make a choice in 1 minute the entire room will get spaced.
I love this so mich Recreation of the whole feel of the traps, with tape recorder and everything. I hope you can actually catch someone in one of those.
For the first one I take the wrench(or tool), place it in the microwave, and turn it on. If the blast values are similar to SS13(which they should be) then a microwave in an adjacent tile should be strong enough to blow out the glass section of a non plasma glass window. Then you can use wire cutters to cut the grille. I've use this once, back when viro was a thing to deny romerol zombies the privilege of eating me.
i've seen some pog explosions from putting a battery in a microwave, they don't space but considering they destroy a lot of the engi room at box, it could be powerful enough to break that glass
@@radil3732 Hahahaha its always the small things that make space game so interesting. When you've put so many hours into the game you eventually come across weird little things, while you are desperately trying to survive. I really enjoy the thought and depth you put into these traps! Now you can make them even a bit more deadly.
Imagine trying this in game and 20 people walk past the room "why do I hear gasping" and a pair of experienced engineers just speedrun removing the reinforced walls.
With how plasma gas burns now, i feel you could do a trap where you could have domeone trapped in a room where the plasma is burning on the other side, and once it finishes burning it super heat the room rapidly, find the engineering suit before the plasma gas finishes burning and the bolted door will automatically open itself, granting them freedom
another idea, if you manage to get an artifact that can teleport switch positions, offer up a room with multiple different simulants for the artifact. and they have to find a way to trigger it and teleport them safely out of the room, you'd have it behind glass on display so they can see the artifact. id use this one on RD because you'd be surprised with how many dont know their job as well as they should.
A trap with maxcap. You will need 2 canisters, the first one is empty and has a gas tank with explosive mix inserted inside it, the second one is filled with hot gas which will ignite the maxcap. Between them put a volumetric gas pump which leads to empty canister and signal valve connected to the brig timer. When the brig timer ends, signal valve will open, hot gas will be transfered into empty canister with maxcap inserted inside it, then boom, it will explode
'"Good day, Engineering. I want to play a game. Throughout this shift, you've done a marvelous job on this station. Now, I want to see how far you're willing to go to save your work. I planted a maxcap explosive on this station. The only way to disarm them is to find it. You have 10 minutes before the detonation. Let the hunt begin."
I always wanted to do a saw gimmick, and you gave me so many ideas. Next time i roll traitor, the station should watch out (i will make myself publicly valid within 5 minutes of roundstart and get permabrigged) (I am very un-robust)
In fact, if you want to build the inescapable traps, you can build something I like to call fish-net deathtraps. They're the kind of traps without an exit, that work on them own. I'll cover them on the next video.
@@radil3732 Yeah, just wanted to inquire on how i could add the tape recorder into a delta v server. Tried adding files manually but hasnt seemed to work.
These are interesting, but I've always been most confused on how to get someone into the trap. I was thinking nitrous tanks, since if you turn the pressure up they can be hard to wake up from. Know what the right pressure would be for that?
@coolin74 Nocturine and hypopen combo never failed me, but it's just the timing and the area you need to look around for. Near maintenence, far from sec, close to your department - that's the best one.
@coolin74 there're certainly some ways, but if you get your hands on Fulton then it gets easier. Just inject them, Cuff, put in crate, get into crate, and Fulton back
@Chikter_the_duck Role-playing saw is stupid, yeah. And by the way, there're 4 uploaded traps, but the fourth is only for the chosen ones..(jk it was the stupidest one, I had so much cringe watching it that I restricted it xd)
Most reasonable reaction to being slipped in the hall
radio silence is just cruel... you monster
On delta, mimes are telephaths, so uh... yeah.
@@AlexStillPlays This just proves Delta is inferior. Mimes should never be allowed to speak, they must use pen and paper and silly gestures.

@theapug7296 this idea lacks the "testing part", where victim has to prove their will to live. But it's a good base

wow I didn't even think about this. Microwave should've acted as just power user, but that works

These are absolutely, perfectly EVIL, and they will work wonderfully for inspiration for some traps of mine i am now inspired to make

I need to build these for an antag round.
I'm thinking in the style of Saw with a bit of H.H Holmes.

wow these are extremely evil
Radio silence one should be the other way around, initial message stays the same but if the mime does break his vow, the room is flooded with gas.
