That's an awesome Small Pot Still and the pre-Condenser is very nice to have when you want to use it. I'm going to try the limes. Thanks for letting us in on that! I bet the limes would go good with a Apple Wash and add a hint of citrus to the final Brandy. Thanks so much for sharing, Austin
Hello from Oz 🇦🇺 Excellent video 👍🏼 At the end (I may have missed it), what do you do with the remaining lime liquid in pot? Throw lime parts in compost and where does liquid go?
Hey! Thanks! Yes, you can take limes to compost. Remaining liquid does have some alcohol, but not a lot, you can drain into feints vessel, or just drain to sewage.
@@DoctorGradusInternational reason I asked was because I saw the stainless roll and was just curious how many rolls you where running in that pipe. Great video keep up the good work. Thanx for answering!
Thank-you for sharing, my question is does leaving that much skin from the lime not leave a bitter taste? Have you ever tried it with the limes with the peel removed? Thanks and I would love to see more videos with Russian or western type recipes.👍✌✌
Thanks for the comment! Yes the product can have a bitter taste, so that's why I made a cut during the run, otherwise I could get boiling, bitter and sour taste in hole product. The great thing about lime, that albedo is not so thick like in orange or lemons, so if you just peel lime and add it to the boiler with juice, the result is going to be fine as well, you just need to get rid of white part (albedo) of citrus. Oh great! I make another kinda Russian style beverage, it might be unusual, but very tasty during cold days.
@@DoctorGradusInternationalcool, I commented before on a gin video I think about the lemon peel here We call the white part " piff ". Ok well I look forward to some good cold weather recipes to come. Next time I make neutural I will try with peeled lime and let you know how it goes.
What a great movie, and a lovely small boiler, a perfect distiller for all kind of experiments too.
It will be a honor to make this beverage.😋😋😋😋😋
Wonderful! It will be great if you leave a comment after you make this beverage in future.
Thank you to be a good idea
Thanks!

what packing where you using ?
This distiller has stainless steel mesh packing. Could be nothing, cause we just making pot still run, we don’t care about packing.

Sure, it’s not a problem to answer! In this still it has always 3 rolls of stainless steel mesh. Thank you for your comment, we will do our best!

Also nice, simple little still in the video. I think I may fashion one like it to do small runs like this in the near future.
