I have been riding Tornado when she was visiting in February and also in May during the Wensleyale Festival as I am a volunteer for the Wensleydale Railway in the Buffet Car so I was able to ride and record some of the moments we had with Tornado during her visit so all in all from mine and your clips it was a memorable moment for us all. Also keep your head inside the carriage, I know it's not the mainline but I am sure there are limits to what you can and can't do.
Hi.Many thanks for your concern,it is mainly the camera that is out of the train.I did notice some of the bushes and branches are very near to the train and could do with trimming off,but this takes manpower that some railways don't always have...Great trip, shame the weather didn't play ball that day.....Regards Chris
One so near yet never been to Wensleydale , big treat having Tornado on there , so many have said when they have gone there it’s just been diesels running , bacon and egg on the shovel next from Rosie ? ... lol .. permanent new job for her !! ...
Don't tell her that Dave,I had hell of a job stopping her signing up for a shift on Tornado then...LOL! ..Rosie would drive with the other young lady firing, her dream job.......Regards Chris
The Wensleydale Railway is about an hour away from The North Yorkshire Moors Railway I think and the J27 from the NYMR goes to the Wensleydale Railway in the summer
Good video i see Rosie doing a grand job with the shovel , when i done it on the Bluebell half ended up on the footplate ! , Nice to see you back in action with the Camera
I will be busy loading videos up to TH-cam for a few days Graham. We were away for four weeks, this is the longest holiday ever for us.Rosie did well with the shovel but I worried that it would end up in the fire once or twice.....Best wishes Chris
@@wooltman seems you have been away for ages Chris in fact i uploaded a couple of videos since we last spoke ! anyway did you both have a good time ? hope the weather was kind to you
