I recorded Holland Taylor's one woman show "Ann" when it was on PBS....I have watched it 4 times now....and will watch it at least twice more. It has been a very long time since I fell in love with something like this so fast. She is spot on Ann.
Ann Richards is the President that we need today.

I met her when I was about 19. She came into the Arts and Crafts store where I worked in Waco. About 1975. She had gone to school with my boss. My family always talked about her Texas big hairdos and thought it looked like the kind of hairstyles that my great Aunt Ruby Ray Ledbetter specialized in at the Cottage Beauty shop. Turns out that is where Ann got her hair fixed! I have always admired her. Knew who she was and how important she was before she came into the store. Definitely a fan girl of hers.
