So use wiring when you can also use Wi-Fi range extenders (if you have a large house or apartment that is). It's a good video here but look for guides on how to set up an efficient home network, it will save you a lot of troubles.

But what about the various sites that never are accessible when using the Nord vpn server? I have this happen several times where many of my online stores will not connect when I have the vpn connected and I have to disconnect the vpn in order to Ise those sites. I just signed up for NordVPN yesterday. I flashed dd-wrt on my router and installed on my R7000. My router speed dropped from approx 500 mbps to approx 50 mbps. As soon as i disabled the vpn on the router it jumped back up to 500 mbps instantly. Support said that this is normal due and not much could be done to router capability and single vs multi threading.... is this true? I'd be fine with a10-20% drop but 90% speed drop makes this no worth it.

For me I still have NordVPN on my devices but my Orbi WiFi 6 router does not allow me to use OpenVPN. It’s the software on it and there’s not much that I can do about it.
