Matthew Chapters 1-9 Lecture 5 AFG 220424

This Lecture is still concerned with the Sermon on the Mount, to do with the requirements of holy living, as described in the pericope 5:17-48.
In this lecture (5:17-26) we discuss how Christ fulfills the law (vv. 17-18), and consequently the believer's relationship to the law; and how the Gospel is greater than the law (vv. 19-20).
In addition, we discuss how murder begins in the heart (vv. 21-22) and the command to be reconciled with a brother (vv. 23-26).
