      Our water is delivered to us at 2000 gallons a load and it lasts us a year and that's our needs along with watering our wild animals. It's called conserving water we go through 4 gallons a day with the exception of bathing and laundry. A bath takes 3 gallons and laundry takes 9 . We don't use it to flush toilet we use compost toilet. And the wild animals get about 4 gallons every other day depending on who shows up. We have cattle that the rancher don't even water here the poor things . But we manage with 3000 gallons a year and it cost 130$ a load .

      Arizona is well known for its water management systems especially its urban water program and mitigating chronic water scarcity typically means rationing, diversion programs and over-pumping, none of which addresses the basic lack of water. It is a finite resource, a concept that is intellectually easy to comprehend but difficult to adapt to in practice.

    • @JohnEboyee
      @JohnEboyee 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The best in the nation, possibly worldwide--and there's no rationing at the moment which I've disagreed with since Roosevelt Lake was at capacity a few years ago. Urban AZ is built ontop of the most naturally diverse desertscape on earth. Northern Mexico ain't no stranger to this. AZ, for now, has no need to tap deep into earth for water.

      Absolutely not , I agree but all the water on the planet belongs to our Heavenly Father who creates it for us and so we share as necessary. Then He gives us more when we need it and where we need it but sometimes we need to show Him what we can do to help our neighbors as well as ourselves. That’s what it’s all about. Love thy neighbor as thyself as stated in The Holy Bible.
      I love Canada. I love the Rockies but I live in Texas currently where we pray for rain! God and Jesus answer our prayers and have given us soo much rain in 2020 & 2021 and I don’t mind sharing, when necessary, with anyone who needs it because I couldn’t imagine anyone have to starve to death or die of dehydration. We shouldn’t do that in a civilized society. Wouldn’t you agree?
      Lack of sanitation is another serious problem which we all need to address. We pay for clean drinking water with our tax revenue then corporations say it’s “their water” so they can sell it to us for huge profits and we won’t stand for it anymore! Anymore! Anymore!

    People shouldn’t panic. All of this is cyclical. Maybe it’s dry in Arizona, but then there are other parts of the country that are getting extra water. It all evens out in the end. Before you know it, Arizona will have too much water and other places will dry.
    The better thing to do is to invest in infrastructure where you have lots of pipes going everywhere so everyone always has as much freshwater as they want to use all the time.
