Khalifa Gueye - Ruba (Year Unknown)

i don't really have any info on this one! it's seemingly very obscure, listed on rateyourmusic and discogs and with the odd mention on a blog or two, but no definitive info on who's playing, what the context was, or even when it came out. this is some sick stuff though, with some very passionate vocals from khalifa gueye, a super melodramatic backing band, and some wonderfully chunky synths and sampling that makes me think this probably came out in the late 80s - mid 90s. this one has a lot more variety than some of the tapes i've come across in the past too, note the ballads on here, the rap track!! it really has something for everyone. if anyone can translate what he's singing btw, please let me know! i'd love to find out and i will amend it to this description
