I'm in the middle of a big move and noticed how much hauling clothes around bogs me down. I'm trusting you on this one Ashley, everything goes to storage and over the next two weeks I'm treating this as a shopping list.
Hi Ashley. Here's a long overdue idea for a topic for you to cover. I watch your content, and while I find it spot on, it bums me out. I am tall 6'4" and can usually only find minimal resources to get many of the looks that you showcase. I have been encouraged that after many, many years more pant/jean brands are offering 36" inseams. Sleeve length for shirts and sweaters are still very difficult. Availability has gotten better but I still have to shop in the Big & Dumb sections of stores. The introduction of an online store like American Tall is great but style is sort of lacking. I would love to see your style etiquette married with more tall offerings. Anyway, just a thought.
GQ: "Wear everything oversized and baggy because the 90s are cool again, and wear long white socks with Adidas Sambas sneakers and short, pleated shorts. Also, dye your hair pink." Ashley: "Nope"
Pretty much! GQ has gone all-in on streetwear and trendy fashion, which is fine, but yeah not something I’d recommend to the average guy just starting to dress better.
@@MensFashioner GQ is for younger guys. This became very apparent when they were promoting a flannel shirt that had the caption, "looks like something your dad wore during his grunge phase." It was at that moment I realized I had completely aged out of GQ.
She is cute because she talks fast and gesticulate with her hands. She is doing the presentation with passion and she likes and understands what she is doing. ❤
You are supposed to line dry all of their tops basically so if it’s from the dryer, that’s why. Mine hold up for a couple seasons at least (in terms of like tshirts) and years for stuff like hoodies, gotta pay attention to the care instructions
I bought a pair of twill pants from H&M back in 2012 and they’re still amazing. I don’t think you’re caring for your products well. I wash all of my T-shirts, regardless of the brand, in cold water and put my cotton T-shirts in the dryer with no issues whatsoever.
This channel legitimately changed, upgraded, and really gave me that woman’s touch in my entire wardrobe about 1.5 years ago. No overhyping, I get complimented almost always on my style now. One person actually said to me, “sheesh, you look like you’re out of a magazine every time you get ready..” 😂 loved it. Thank you much Ashley for your stylish eyes and advice. (I’m about to post this on like each video now to make sure these kid’s know what the deal is.)

I don't have a ton of spare income to spend on clothing, but knowing there are great and stylish options out there, for an affordable price, makes me very happy! The problem with some of these choices is that they look different when I wear them. Not all men have the same body as it seems here. I weigh 140 and often its a hassle to find what fits.
A problem with jeans in the summer is the heat. Unless you can find some summer-weight or denim cloth-linen blend jeans. It took me a while to get at the time a denim-linen blend jean and one summer-weight cotton canvas 5-pocket pant. After a quick search this June 2023 Bonobos has some lightweight travel jeans available.

Some things are okay from there (European stores) but I know what you mean. Either the quality is not there or the fit is just weird.

Quality is subjective and yes, if you want cheaper items to last longer, you’ve got to care for them well.

I find them quite warm, as the cotton fabric (I've never seen them in linen) is usually rather thick.
Have talked about them, ad nauseam for years, so wanted to mix it up a bit. They’ll always be good for summer.
