I have bought this test. Its the first time i use it so i can tell you much but i like it allot. You can see the equilibrion point verry clear. I had first the colombo kh test where the color fore equilibirion blue to yellow is that was verry difficult. This is better and with dsr reference solution and it one reference solution. With both solutions its is acuracy. When the ca and mag test are finished then i will try the aquaforest ca and mag test
Hello! First - color perception can vary, it is a subjective matter how a particular eye perceives color. The second aspect is the display of colors on the monitor - it can vary depending on the equipment on which we play the image. The third point is that the film is already 6 years old, and over this time the raw materials used in the production of the test have changed by which the hues between production batches may vary slightly, and this is perfectly normal. Even the staining of the brine in the aquarium which sometimes happens can affect the final color of the test. What is important for the customer is the moment of the color change - the color is supposed to change from green to "pink" - the color transition is clear. Whether it will be juicy pink, light pink, slightly dull or falling into shades of pink-orange - here it is a matter of interpretation or the influence of the mentioned factors. We recommend performing your KH test several times and observing the color at which the test should be completed - a stable color, at which adding another drop of B-KH reagent will no longer cause a change.

Reference solution is to comparative purpose, and is intended to validate precision of the results. We recommend to periodically perform full testing procedure with this fluid to verify test kit accuracy. The parameters of this solution are clearly marked on the label.
