Great that YEAN has a big support from you, that's awesome. It's just that downgrading others is not necessary. She has for sure an amazing vocal power, I won't deny that but there is a lot of room for her to grow and to know when to keep it small. For now I disagree, as to me, being the best vocalist is not just showing your technical ability, but she has the potential to become a great vocalist.
Three participants have good voices and perhaps the time was too short so their singing was not optimal. I know this is still a process, but this is a competition, there is no such thing as relaxing, and I just want to convey my opinion, to what extent the participants can convey messages through songs to the audience. Mamcu is quite experienced and innovative with good skills but needs concentration and consistency. Krista here is a little different from usual. Her inspiration is very good, but she does too much improvisation that she shouldn't, which disturbs the stability of her voice. Meanwhile, Yean showed his vocals well, his strong but soft vocals were not deafening when at high notes although he was not free from some errors. Yean could be a dark horse in this CAT. Come on, beautiful sisters, fight and be better, achieve your dreams. If not now when?
The Thai Mentor said Yean is the pride of Thailand so she will debut regardless of her atrocious singing. Yean can't rely on her high note all the time !!!

To keep things fair: Why did YEAN skip the hardest part, which is the talk/sing part with the very tough rhythm to catch. KRISTA did start off with the beginning, so why didn't YEAN do it as well... was it cut out? YEAN relied too much on her vocal and technical ability but forgot to actually feel it? if that makes sense? She didn't convey the lyrics. Also her timing was off in the beginning up to halfway. Singing a song to me is telling a story, can you feel and convey the emotion of the song. It's not a vocal technical ability contest. KRISTA could have done way better, if she just didn't try too hard with all the ad-libs and runs that where out place/all over the place. Also the really high note (like MAMCU did in her version of Golden Hour) was risky and became unstable plus added again unnecessary runs. The result was messy and unpleasant, in my opinion. Not fact but just based on my personal ears. MAMCU, I guess she tried to enjoy the stage, tune into the right mood and emerge into what the song needed on top of her vocal ability, she did it playfully and that was what the audience perceived. Their peers voting for her speaks for itself why she won, I agree with them 💯
