bamboozled again. here i thought after last week’s win against alabama they might have turned the corner.
changes are needed ASAP if they want to hold on to the talent on the roster and coming in.
as bad as things were, the players never looked like they quit, or gave up. i respect them for that.
cheers to a positive bowl win and offseason 🍻

I get the OC is a big deal, but I have heard no one talking about ALL the players we have had on the injury and availability report ALL season. I mean C'mon!! Schimidy is a legend and a boss. but honestly, It was like we couldn't take a hit from any team without someone getting hurt. We were ill prepared for the SEC grind. Just my opinion.

The trend in S&C for a lot of teams lately is replacing Olympic lifting with jazzer-size type stuff. It’s a ridiculously form of training for football and it’s hurting every team who trains that way. LSU trains that way too, throwing out decades of proven methods of building strength and explosive power with Olympic lifts. It’s unfortunate.

Valai hasn't gotten any heat whatsoever, the CB's haven't progressed at all and what's up playing 10yds off the ball on 2nd & 4? Eli Bowen is great in short and intermediate coverage but he's a liability downfield. Not only does he lack height and length but he's not very fast which is something you'd expect from a 5'9 CB. Bowen just has a backwards skillset for a small CB.

The offense has been poor all year. Hiring Littrell was a mistake early and the o-line was not great. Losing every dynamic WR did not help but the bottom line is we had a poor year, including the play of the defensive backfield. We are OU and we expect…demand… better and we have just cause over the years. The SEC adjustment was real but that is a good thing overall because we knew from Sam Bradford through Kyler Murray that we were not going to win another championship until we could win at SEC level play. We are OU and we have a lot to look forward to with help coming on offense if we get a good OC. QB play has to be better but Jackson got better as the season went on and he has a high ceiling.
