Those little things you thought were needle stoppers look like cord strings for drawstrings (hoods and drawstring bags come to mind). The yarn is beautiful.
Nice, I like mystery bags with no yarn differences btw knit and crochet. I get my feathers ruffled by the idea that crocheters only like acrylic and heavier weights. I love fancy yarn,wool, thinner yarn weights etc. for knit and crochet!

I agree that the stoppers are used for drawstrings, eg. a hoodie. However, I've also used them for needle stitch stoppers. Multi-purpose!
Ok so they can be used as stoppers. In a pinch, use what you have.

Yep, every thing was the same except the addition of a knit pattern. The bags were nice with quality yarn and goodies included.
Looked up the mini skein set just for fun. At the dyer's site, they retail for $42. my curisosity got to me LOL

Those definitely are the cord stoppers for a snood or sweat jacket… the cord won’t pull thru when wearing and keep it tight around your face…
