MMPR Battle Bike Construction Sets! $4 Each... (not Lego...)

- Today I'm taking a look at the new officially licensed MMPR Battle Bike construction bikes made by Forever Clever. These can be found for $4-$5 at stores like Ross and Five Below and come in 4 options for the Red, Blue, Black, and Green Rangers.

If Lego and Hasbro can team up too give us the amazing Optimus Prime set I would love an official Lego Power Rangers set, even if it's just the command center or the Megazord I'd be happy
This same line have a dragonzord and megazord Id love to see legos take on it
These remind me so much of those old Mega Bloks they had back in the day. Not the ones they made for Megaforce or Super Megaforce, but Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, SPD, and Samurai. Those had figures and builds very reminiscent of these and despite being more into LEGO generally, the old Power Rangers Mega Bloks are so nostalgic to me. Also interesting fact, apparently they made Mega Bloks for Sentai and Rider in Japan. I'd highly recommend you look into those if you're interested because I don't even think they go for much second-hand if you can find them.
I must be a weirdo because when he read, "Compatible with other brands" I wanted to see how the Lightning collection figures would look on the bikes.

The minifigures look really good when comparing them to a LEGO one. Might be able to blend in really well.
I picked up the Green Ranger bike set at 5 Below today and went to Ross after and found the Zord sets! I picked up the Tyrannosaurus, but they also had the Mastodon and the Triceratops. It was my first time seeing the zords. Cool to see more Power Rangers merch out there.
This might be one of those times where it's a good idea to glue the build together as you move along. Interesting figures. I'm certainly glad we got the Minimate Rangers around the same time.

just bought a set, for a lego knock off brand
it's pretty good quality control; didn't have missing pieces and nothing broke apart
also the figures are compatible enough with actual lego

d'oh! I've seen these No WHERE! and i've been scouring for Bootlego sets. oh...i've seen the GI Joe sets before. didn't buy them. so they are legit. I thought Power Rangers sets were made by MEGA BLOCKS. but I guess when Hasbro bought the property from Bandai, they got the block versions too. want these so much...but i live in a small beach town with not many options (we have a Five Below, but it is much smaller than the ones i've visited in bigger cities)
Lol the reason why they don't sit on the bike is cause the slot is covered by brikes. I had the lego versions of those bikes when I was a child.

Why doesn't hasbro just partner with Lego to make official mmpr Lego sets ? I mean they made a Lego op so it's not out of the realm of possibilities

These look like a cute little thing for adult collectors. Though, ironically, not for the kids who are probably the target demographic due to the shoddy plastic quality.
The great thing about these is that making the Command Center is as easy as getting the right bricks. While there's some weirdness like the kick stands and the heads being flesh tone (why not cast them in the same colour as the helmets when they're featureless and won't be shown without the helmets as a result?), they'll do in a pinch for a MMPR display... too bad there's no Trini or Kimberly though. I may have gotten these if there were.
the plastic is good enough that it didn't snap when i put it together

there is a trini if you buy the megazord pack but there is no kim to be found :(

Hasbro would rather license out to a knockoff toy construction company instead of just paying Lego to officially manufacture these. Anything to save a buck I guess.

I wonder why they wouldn't just go with lego? it's not like lego won't take a brand deal from ANYBODY, they've taken money from the simpsons for god's sake

I think figures of them come with the Zord ones but they didn't get bikes

not the worst figure? i'm pretty sure the KO version on Aliexpress is a better quality and cheap
All but my blue one was broke or messed up I do not recommend them unless you want to laugh really hard
they may be faceless horrors, but at least they can breathe through their nostrils
Those stickers really hurt my soul. If I were to buy it I’d have shitty looking motorcycles.
buy the zords
the motorcycles are too big and just clunky
i took the minifigures and stuck them on normal lego motorcycles and ninjago ones
they work much better

I bought the Cobra Fang from G.I. Joe and it was genuinely the worst piece of shit thing i've built in YEARS.

The helmet alone is worth 4 dollars.........😅
The minimates that just came out look 100 times better than these. More articulation better accessories, having said that I'm still picking them up I think the minimates scale better on the bikes
For that price the plastic is for sure very cheap

These sets are garbage. You’re getting what you paid for. Hasbro is simply cashing in on the nostalgia. The box art is what sells these. The Megazord and Dragonzord set are $20 each at Ollie’s and they have a whole stack of them because at the end of the day, you’re just buying it for the box art. The Joe sets are the same way. Most collectors that I talk to won’t even open and build them. The Mega Bloks MMPR megazord looks way better. What’s even more frustrating is that the box art shows the new Hasbro Megazord and Dragonzord but then when you look at the actual product, it looks like something you would find at a bootleg foreign flea market.
I would not recommend this. I have bought better fake lego for 5 dollar at five below that this. Hasbro should of license power ranger to Well Played to make some Snap and Switch set instead

Apologies. I mainly did it because nothing on these sets holds together well so it would've been a lot of silence while I tried to get it to work.
@@TokuTopics that's ok. My grandson wanted it so my daughter bought 2 (blue/gree) at 5 and Below. Of course they sat it in front of me once they realized it wasn't going to be an easy task. The directions were no good. So I went to you tube and was like YES!!!Then I saw it was speed mode. YES!!Went to YIKES!!! I was frustrated but I finally did it. Took 2 hrs😵💫. At least I'll know how to assemble the green one. Thank you for at least showing us where the decals go.
