Is this the National Shrine of The Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. ? I well remember visiting it in 1987, 1990 and 1998 on my visits there. A beautiful shrine. I remember taking the Washington, D.C. Metro to it. It runs parallel to the United States Capital Building and even has it's own stop. Beautiful!!!🙏
Me too. The South Gallery organ has 6,571 pipes and 124 ranks, while the west chancel organ has 2,642 pipes and 48 ranks. This organ has got 9,393 pipes in total. It was made in 1988 and underwent a refurbishing process. Goulding & Wood built two identical organ consoles to control the upper church organs, while Klais Orgelbau of Bonn, Germany redesigned the feçade for the south gallery organ.
Not such a good modulation after stanza one. Sounded un prepared and just roaming. Sorry! But at least no one was singing (yelling) into a microphone as in some times past. The horizontal TROMPETTE EN CHAMADE Pipes are just wonderfully voiced and are given ample wind !!!!
Magnificent cathedral. I love this song. Praise God for He has risen ! All glory and honor to Him most high. Beautiful music. Very angelic...
