I was a huge fan of Yothu Yindi in the 90s (probably their biggest American fan, most people here never heard of them), and found out about King Stingray a few years ago. I thought it's very cool they are continuing the legacy of Yothu Yindi (2 of the band members are direct relatives of Yothu Yindi band members).
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this band, as soon as I heard the boys on Rage the other night I can't get them out of my head.... all of them, are so perfect. The harmonies are pure magic, those that wrap around you & lift you to a place outside of this world... straight to your heart, soul & body. You feel this & keep wanting more. King Stingray, prime Aussie rock that's going to rocket to the top xxx
Found you guys a while back. I live in the SF bay area and listened to this album while I was driving home from the other side of the bay with my dad. We were driving over the bay bridge when the sun was setting, and it was gorgeous. The music was a perfect compliment. Never fails to lift my spirits. From one musician to others, keep it up! I look forward to your guys next release.
