Welcome back to another painting video! Today's video will be a girl with tulips. Recently I often draw different types of flowers. I studied the flowers and tried to drew them as close as possible. It took me quite a while to paint the detail of the flowers. Especially the flowers with many petals, like dasies and sunflowers that I painted before. So this is like a challenge to see how many types of flowers I can draw in the future. Anyway, I hope you like it 💕

You have such a beautiful drawing/painting style. I love the combination of realistic and cartoon. It's what I call almost a realistic anime style of artwork which is one of my all time favorites! Were there any specific books, youtube videos, or things like that that you use to learn how to do your drawing/painting? I am a little in awe of how good you are at shadowing!! It really makes your artwork POP!

I am a self-taught artist and I don't have a specific reference, I learn to draw by watching many video tutorials from various youtube sources or sometimes I draw by instinct. My inspiration comes from my favorite illustrators and I try to be creative and change myself every day

I can draw sketch but Its difficult to paint
Pls tell me some tips about how to paint smooth and clear, not too light and not to dark.
Personally, I think mixing color with less water will make the color smoother when dry. And combining warm and cool tones will make your paintings more vibrant. Thank you so much 😊🌼

Hello Medco……lovely as always! Is your palette plastic or glass? Any trouble cleaning off the acrylic/gouache?
My palettes are made of plastic, I love using them. However, the ceramic palette are easier to clean. With the plastic palette, I had to use a toothbrush to clean it completely because the acrylic color dries very quickly. Thank you so much 😊🌼
The colors look so pretty ^u^ I see you mixed tthem to make them look perfect, but with gouache you won't be able to reuse them T^T your art turned out amazing tho

Love your paintings as always Meeco! How do you get the paint to be so smooth and cover so much surface? When I'm painting with acryla gouche its so hard to get it to be smooth without a lot of water....
I think I would pick the right brush and paint it multiple times so it doesn't leave any streaks, this makes the surface look smoother when it's dry. And I usually just wet the brush when mixing and don't use too much water, I think that will make the paint look more matte. Thank you so much 😊🌼

From where do you get the ideas to draw individual characters? Do you have any art model?
My ideas often come from anywhere. Sometimes a palette of colors that I want to incorporate, sometimes flowers, sometimes patterns from dresses..

It's really not that good, sometimes I forget to wash the color right after I paint it, it makes the brush hard 😅
