Here’s a piece of advice. If you have a mulch plug, put it on to cover the discharge chute to trap the water underneath the deck, along with the deck, being all the way down to the ground. Otherwise, if you don’t put the mulch plug on, it won’t trap the water underneath the deck, and it won’t do anything because it’s just running out the discharge chute

You’re welcome. Make sure to use one next time you use that watch port on your mower deck.

I think you have to use it right after the first time of mowing and do it all the time after mowing is done, I think than the results might be better, but at least it will be easier now to clean it out since the grass under the deck is so wet.;)

I've found the only way for those hose cleaners to work somewhat is to do it after every use. As soon as it gets the tiniest amount of accumulated dried grass it just soaks it, but never removes it.

That's right, he should have read the instructions that came with his deer.

I was never a fan of those ez clean systems. We run an apartment building and when we use to cut the grass (contracted out now) we would end up in the fall taking the deck off and pressure washing it. The moisture from the grass will rot those things out in no time, especially the cheap metal they use now

You really should let it idle down in the slow position for about a minute before turning it off. I do this with my X350 before I turn it off. It's not good for the motor just to shut it odd right away. If you put your throttle all the way down and let it idle for a minute before turning it off it reduces the stress on the engine.

After wash let it dry then pour a small amount of chainsaw bar oil down it with blades running

Remember to start your blades on at low rev so you don’t wear out the belt too soon

That applies to clutch powered mowers as well. Low rpm engagement then rev it up.

Having one if them would be so cool but 500 sqft of lawn not worth the cost. How do you get the cheap, any battery powered

I have no idea why you were rocking the mower. It didn't do anything to dislodge the debris. You have those nice ramps. Put the mower back up on the ramps and use your sprayer on your hose to spray the grass off. It will take some bending down but you will be able to remove more.
I have a John Deere riding mower too and next time I clean under the deck I will use my pressure washer. I don't have ramps but maybe the wand will get up underneath.

You are suppose to clean it after every use and run it a minimum of 5 minutes. I hope you removed all that wet grassy clump!

I got a john deere e120 I do this after EVERY cut I blow it out with a blower dig the grass out of deck than spray it down with water with the water hose.... my grandfather also did this after each mow

Basically it doesnt work. Better of putting on the ramps and hand cleaning and rinsing with a sprayer.

Hello my handsome friend. I know this is off your topic, but.... I was wondering next time you two order fried chicken, order it, " FRESH " Order it right out of the grease. Trust me my friend.... You will never go back to just regular chicken under a heating lamp. Here is Texas,.. we have a chicken place called "Church's chicken " We also have popeye's: & KFC. For year's,... my friends made fun of me. But when I tell them/ or : show them the difference,? Well, they never complained again. By the way,... I was watching a video ( your video of course) the KFC Chicken and waffles and sandwich. Btw...I am a HUGE!! REBA FAN!! Maybe one- day ..... you can send out a shout out to me. MorningBear. 😇🤩😍😁🤓🤓😊🙏 OOOOH!!! I could eat just the crust off the chicken as well. Toooo me, that's the best part!! Love your videos and Kathy's. God bless you both. 😇😇😊😊🍗🍗🍗🍗🍗🧇🧇☕🍨
