    I love how you use a Digital Calliper to adjust your chain because I do that too. I want the wheel to be straight for those times I let go whatever I'm doing =P

    12:20 The Yoshi exhaust has that weird angle to clear licence plates of regular tail tidy kits.
    I guess you could reduce the spacer lenght to make it look more straight...

    • @TheGardenSnake
      @TheGardenSnake  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could force it over I bet. But since I run it in supermoto trim now and then that helpful. In fact I normally crank my exhaust out a bit with a longer bolt and spacer. The much wider supermoto wheel will hit the muffler if you go off a small jump.

    • @TheGardenSnake
      @TheGardenSnake  ปีที่แล้ว

      Wanna break your chain breaker? Do it without grinding them and you’ll get a few uses. Also thrashes the inside of the bush when you force that fat rivet through there. Remember we’re still using that one side.

    • @jeffreymurillo3131
      @jeffreymurillo3131 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheGardenSnake I have used the same chain breaker for 5 years, even went cross country with it breaking my friend's chain cuz it had to be replaced.
      There's only a tiny lip of metal holding that pin.
      For me, it's the crappy chain riveter that breaks, not the chain breaker. btw i use motion pro model.

  • @alexblaska9802
    @alexblaska9802 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Jake, i would relocate that shock reservoir/bladder. With the suspension working alone those heat up, and having it right next to your block is not doing it any favors at all. It will probably cause your shock oil to get hot quick and probably hotter than it should be. I understand there are constraints, not sure if thats where race-tech engineered it togo but i know enough about suspension and moto, and can yell you thats seems like a really bad spot

    • @XXXCRSPL
      @XXXCRSPL ปีที่แล้ว

      The engine does not get hot enough to effect it..There is nowhere else to mount the piggy back unless you own the bike too you would know..
      Experts designed it so if it works it works

    • @TheGardenSnake
      @TheGardenSnake  ปีที่แล้ว

      That is where race tech designed it to mount. It doesn’t get nearly as hot as one above the exhaust. Race tech is a pretty big company and has been doing engine builds and suspension for years. If they said “mount it there” then it’s ok.

    • @alexblaska9802
      @alexblaska9802 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheGardenSnake Is it true what the other person said, no where else to mount it??? Maybe thats why race tech did that. Depends on the bike, some bikes have a big air gap between the reservoir and exhaust. I suppose this may not matter much because you wont build heat unless you end up at a moto track, lol

    I would like to know how much it would be to do this build. I know a lot of people don't have 13k to 19k on a enduro but come on its a little bit ridiculous to build up a 300.

      @Jake TheGardenSnake so no labor costs? It's a cool build but I'd rather just buy a honda 450 and throw GPS on it. I'm a fellow mechanic I can do the same but hate working on my own stuff and don't have time.

    It’s a Nice kit and good quality graphics, but I wouldn’t support Bold. They charge crazy prices for their products. As an example, they are currently selling 3d printed licenceplate holders for supermotos. Those items cost AT MOST 20$ each to make. But they’re charging 130$ for them. And it’s not like its a high quality injection-moulded thing, but a flimsy PLA print. Just shady.
