Simple and not a lot of things to make them break down. Like the appliance repair guys that repair laundry machines say buy the simplest basic washer and dryers without all the computer stuff that goes haywire. Less repairs and break downs.
Alex, you will find all of the Kei trucks struggle to go 60mph, as they were regulated by code to under 60. A 5 speed-equipped Carry drops the revs a little and will be equal to a 5spd Sambar, but a Kei truck's happy place is around 45mph.

S Barer maybe its because your suzuki its a 4speed. i think a 5speed can do 60mph much easier.
