I am using FCP (Final Cut Pro) on MacBook, I used to edit on my 6th gen iPad with Luma Fusion.
✋ stupid question: do you use a media mod on the Go Pro Max with the DJI Mic?
Hi, ‘there are not any stupid questions’ , so to answer: NOT.
I am using DJI mic with an internal recording (that way it does not have to be connected to anything, it records audio standalone BUT you have to remember to click start/stop button to start/stop recording on both devices now so the GoPro Max and the DJI mic).
GoPro Max has quite good mics but only when the camera is fairly close to you/ source of sound/voice and without too much ‘additional noise’ from your surroundings.

@@lasomathletics Hey, I didn't think of that!! how the DJI mic records on its own, apart from the GoPro Max, hence no additional items to attach to the GoPro!! Yes, I'll need to be sure to start and stop the mic along with starting stoping video recording!! Very helpful. TY!! I'll be checking out your latest video on more direct audio examples!! Subbed!!
