    Hi. Was wondering, if we book our accommodation for 30days then is it required to show the return ticket for the same? I understood the 180days stay per entry part, but am confused with the return ticket part! Would appreciate if you could explain. Thanks !

    Congrats! Did they allow you to bring your spouse and kids on the same visa, or did each person have to apply for an individual visa?

      @@nedz291 My kids and spouse are covered by the DTV visa but I did have to apply for a dependent VISA and submit documents that show authenticity. There is an associated fee for each dependent VISA. You can do this part in country if needed unlike the DTV

      @@Creativelyunemployed Info on the DTV is so confusing atm. so your wife and yourself are using 1 DTV visa ? And you had to apply for dependents visas for your kids and provide something like a birth certificate. Right?

      @@nedz291the kids and my spouse are covered by my DTV Visa. However, there was no way through the website to add them after I was approved so I could either apply for dependent Visas through the site which attaches them to my VISA. I can contact the local embassy and ask them to add my dependents including my spouse. They will ask fir Marriage Cert and birth certificates with passports and proof of funds etc. You will have to apply for each individual member and pay the dependent visa fee of about 200 USD. Or lastly, if you are already a DTV holder, you can go to the local immigration office when in Thailand and apply to add them there as well while they are in country on the on entry 60 day VISA. Remember, you can’t apply for the DTV while in country, but if you are already a DTV holder, you can apply to add dependents:) I hope this clarifies a bit. I’ll make a vid about this soon.

    Hi Paul, Congrats!
    Could you provide more details on the business portfolio you submitted? Any letters of intent? Or only things about your past work? Also: what documents did you use to show the revenue of the company? Thanks.

    • @Creativelyunemployed
      @Creativelyunemployed  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@miziol222 Hi and thank you! We are excited! The business portfolio I used was the high level overview of my current business and the service that it provides, a short background my myself, and projected growth trajectory for the next year. I also added a photo, my logo, contact info, and my website link for validity purposes but it wasn’t needed.
      Also, for revenue, I simply stated last years revenue vs projected. I didn’t have to prove funds. The only proof of funds they need to see is the 500,000 Baht. “Some reason they needed to see “$17,000” from me”

    • @Creativelyunemployed
      @Creativelyunemployed  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Also II didn’t need a letter of intent since it was my own business. That’s only for people who are moving to join a company that’s headquarters are in Thailand or for someone join Muay Thai etc.
      If you have your own business but don’t have a portfolio constructed, I recommend plugging in all your high level data and allow CHATGPT to construct and format a concise business portfolio online. You can tweak it and go from there. It does a really good job of getting it started!

    Hi there. I applied recently and they said I could put N/A for flight and hotel booking at the Embassy I went to. Did you have to have that in order or did they not care? Thanks

      Hello, Unfortunately on the E-Visa website I had to add my itinerary details and first place of residence. Maybe they are a little more flexible in person at the embassy but for the portal it’s a required field before it allows you to move forward.

      @@Creativelyunemployed does the visa expire if you don't fly within 3 months or something like that?

    • @Creativelyunemployed
      @Creativelyunemployed  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No it doesn’t, it’s valid from the time it’s approved until 5 years to the date. ie: August 7, 2024 -August 7, 2029. You can come in and out as you please.
      If you are in country, you will need to extend at immigration at 180 mark, so you can stay in country for a year without need a boarder run. If you happen to take a trip or leave for any reason before then, you are covered and can enter as many times you’d like. Each exit and entry resets you 180 day clock. You can continue to do this up to the 5yr mark then you’d need to reapply to extend your DTV and go through the process again.

    • @Creativelyunemployed
      @Creativelyunemployed  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s only based on the calendar date of approval and won’t expire regardless of in country or not until the 5 year mark. However, to get approved for the DTV you have to show intent to be in country within 3 months of travel so that’s the only reason I mentioned the 3 months. But say after you are approved and you have to cancel that initial trip, it will not expired.
