LTER Portugal - Montado / Dehesa (with EN subtitles)

This is the video presentation of the LTsER platform Montado.
One of the most characteristic landscapes of Portugal are the great plains of the Alentejo, which resemble an African savannah. In the middle of the Iberian Peninsula, the dehesa (Montado) is a clear example of the balance between Humans and Nature.
The Montado is one of the most sustainable agroforestry systems in the world, and has been studied by a team of Portuguese researchers since 2011. See how in this video!
