    Bajaj Pulsar 150 Summary
Bajaj Pulsar 150 is a street bike available in 2 variants and 6 colours. Pulsar 150 price starts at Rs. 1,13,755 in India with top variant price starting from Rs. 1,17,162. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is powered by 149.5cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 13.8 bhp and a torque of 13.25 Nm. With front disc and rear drum brakes, Bajaj Pulsar 150 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Pulsar 150 bike weighs 148 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 15 liters.
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is the highest selling 150cc commuter bike in India. Despite it being long in the tooth, the combination of muscular style, good fuel efficiency and value for money makes it an extremely popular motorcycle in the two-wheeler market.
The styling might not have been updated for a long time, but the motorcycle has received new colour schemes and variants over the years. In order to add spice to the recipe, the company has introduced the Neon series wherein the motorcycle adorns a matte metallic grey colour scheme with contrasting neon orange or yellow highlights. However, the Neon model loses out on tank extensions and engine belly. Besides that, the motorcycle continues to feature a split seat design, sporty decals for the single and twin-disc models.
It uses a 149.5cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that is fuel-injected and BS6 compliant. It delivers 13.8bhp and 13.4Nm of torque and comes mated to a five-speed transmission. The Pulsar 150 is suspended by telescopic front forks up front and dual springs with adjustable preload at the rear. The braking setup consists of a disc brake at the front as standard and the choice of a drum or a disc brake at the rear. All variants of the Pulsar 150 feature a single-channel ABS system as standard fitment.
The motorcycle is offered in six paint schemes - black-grey and black-red for the single-disc model, black-blue and the same black-red for the twin disc model and neon red, neon yellow and neon silver for the new Neon series. Bajaj has also introduced the Pearl White and Saffire Blue colour options that are a part of its new Dagger Edge edition. These two paint schemes sport bolder and edgier decals.
In its segment, the Pulsar 150 competes against other executive 150cc commuter bikes like the Honda CB Unicorn 150, Hero Xtreme Sports, Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 and the TVS Apache RTR 160.
