It's a miracle! Fabulous interpretation of this wonderful music of the most classical among the composers of the Romantic Generation..... karajan hervorragend!

Many thanks for uploading this very fine performance; the transfer onto this CD is not the best I've come across (it sounded better on LP), but I guess this is beyond most of our control. I do very much like this recording though - at the time it was made the Berlin PO would still have been mainly Furtwangler's orchestra and so it is fascinating to listen to Furtwangler's soundworld with Karajan's more disciplined podium artistry, with such memorable results - thanks again !
