Ryan, I think it a new machine to you and if fits your operation then that a good thing but KT447 here's what I think it would be better suited for construction and JCB would work better for your farm operation.
FarmingLife where are you based I am a 13 year old and I'm interested in becoming a farmer myself and have read and looked at what levels I need to get in to agricultural college and was looking for some work experience or just a day trying it out 👌🏻
will orchard rotary is usually better for taking tops of larger Areas such as paddocks or fields where the grass has got ahead of livestock, flails are better for cutting low to the ground and mulch stingers and weeds. In my experience flails are not that good at doing large areas as the cuxpt isn't as clean as a rotary. But a rotary often leaves the cutting s longer whereas a flail will chop them up much smaller. Hope this helps.
I have to say modern farming technology is amazing
interesting video and good machine!!

Could anybody inform me the pros and cons of a flail topper compared to a rotary?
Thanks
