@@Shantiomari ive seen alot people whos take on Scottie is that he can be elite defensively but never elite offensively. thus seeing him as a 2-3 best option on a championship contender like in the same stratosphere as Chris Bosh, Shawn Marion, Pau Gasol. While Brandon Miller has the tools to be the engine of a championship offense. I dont agree with the take just trying to assume what he may be thinking.

Paolo has shown he can win, Barnes has not yet done so.

If you can put up those stats on a winning team/playoff caliber team then your gunna get recognized because those impressive stats are going towards winning

Whole season JDub 27th in epm and Paolo 129th… I know Paolo was good in the playoffs but that was a small sample in a series Magic lost I think he is being a bit overhyped because he was a number one pick and has had early success but the advanced numbers don’t love him at all and I’m yet to be fully convinced he’s a future dominant superstar player

Although I can see where your coming from, being a second option is a lot easier than being the first option of a team. Paolo would be a lot more efficient if he was playing next to Shai, and JDub would be a lot less efficient if he was trying to lead a team like the Magic.

Reading the comments, you would think that Anthony Edwards has won a title and a mvp. Wemby last year and Ant last year is very close. However, anyone with no bias could see that Wemby has Ant in quite a few categories.
Scoring: Ant (Ant takes more attempts and is more efficient than Wemby by a margin)
Passing: Toss up, (Its very close if you really watch the games). But I believe in the last 20 games alone wemby was averaging like 5.3 assist and in the last 10 he was averaging 6.1. This should also be preface by the fact that the spurs in a vacuum played better as the year went on behind Wemby's gravity.
Rebounding: Wemby
Defensive: Cmon I shouldnt have to say
I love Ant and his team is more successful than Wemby however, if team success is the deciding factor of who the better player is then we need to have some tough conversations.

Surprised Trey Murphy didn’t make this list. Already one of the best shooters in the league and his potential is unlimited - great defender, playmaking is improving - his upside is capped solely by opportunity (pending an ingram trade). Pelicans will make significant strides this season after he gets extended. Book it 🗣️

-RJ > Deni
-19 is way too low for Jalen Green and Coach Udoka has A LOT to do with the strides Green made last year. Green is top 10 with Udoka; he may not even be top 25 without him. Coaching matters. He's certainly better than Darius Garland at 17 for sure.
-Too much praise for LaMelo Ball- a player who is 23 and has played in less than 60% of games.
-Nice to see some Cade praise- his bag is overlooked due to how abysmal the Pistons have been throughout his tenure (and for years before as well).
-Maxey > Haliburton and Zion.

Hence mainly reporting on the draft and prospects. Your argument was that we know what Tyler Herro is at this point. Does that make him less valuable? No, but to you that makes him less appealing because you can’t fantasise about what he might become

There’s so much good young talent in the league! The NBA needs to add at least 2 expansion teams, starting with Seattle. Two empty salary caps would immediately attract a lot of trades and free agents, since so many rosters are staring down luxury tax hell. The league hasn’t expanded much, but the talent pool is through the roof. Bring back the Sonics!
