Let me share mine in HK. My GP was able to diagnose my Bell's Palsy and not stroke immediately when I saw him in the morning I got the strange look on my face. He then referred me to see a specialist in Neurology who prescribed me with high dose steroid and Neurobion as well as physio. Having taken the medication and followed the physio every other days, I had recovered within a month without any trace. It seems your Australian doctor ordering the CT for you and the protocol of calling 000 is bit excessive though it seems to be the safest way. Wish you a full recovery and appreciate your sharing of various experiences in Austraila.

如果不是年輕時買了或一移民到澳洲便買了，便不適合再買，因為老人家的保險收費是非常貴的，每個月的供款會很驚人。
我目前買了一份住院醫療保險，但不太明白細節。覺得Extra Cover 比較實用。但據我理解，不可以單獨，一定要買住院醫保，然後才可再買Extra Cover. 不知道是否正確。
