- Following Tropical Storm Alberto in the Summer of 1994, Southwest Georgia was hit with record floods costing the lives of 31 people and costing more than $750 million. The Flint River drainage in and around Albany and Bainbridge was hit the hardest. This film produced by GPBTV documented DNR's response during and after the floods.
