    Got my Dry Walker for Christmas and I absolutely love it! The design allows for versatility between a simple scrubber/squeegee setup, or for keeping multiple squeegees at the ready. And the baffle design in the drip tray keeps the legs dry when climbing ladders all day. The snap release design is just an added bonus.

    Been thinking about getting one of these for a bit. To be honest mostly to stop “nicking” my rubbers and it’s a bit of a pain getting hold of the silencer in the UK so for me this was the next best thing and as you said not a bad price.
    Thanks for the review Steveo, useful and informative as always👍. Stay safe brother.

    good review. couple points i will add. the most significant advantage of this boab is the design of the squeegee holder compartments. they are triangular, which means they hold the sqeegee firmly but keeps the rubber from touching anything! i don't recommend trying to carry a mop and a fliiq in the mop compartment. 2 fliqs work pretty well in that compartment. if i have reason to need a scrubber and a fliq or 2 i have a secend dry walker. i have it in my indoor kit or a bucket but the clip is on my belt, if i need frequent access to both i put the second on my belt and now i have lots of secure room. previously i used a style of tool belt pouch and then switched to gunslingers when ritchie was breifly teamed up with ____. without getting into any of that dispute, i did like the mayker design and how its sits against my leg, it actually makes it feel lighter than it is and it is very secure when moving. i did find however that my sqeegees either fell out or slid all the way in and the rubber was always resting against the top edge. the dry walker is light and the tools are very secure in it but the boab itself does not feel as nice as the mayker. tell ritchie he needs to incorperate this :) of course those boabs are not really very available. after using drywalkers for at least 2 full seasons tthis is my favourite tool holder by far.

    Glad you reviewed it! I am keen to grab one but just set a few employees up with Ninja Holsters and Squeegees. I have always used Ettore and gave the Liquidators and Moerman range a go but I didn't like the boab, pouch or first squeegee handle. The 2.0 is good for pole work but i am stuck in my ways with Ettore even though i want to change. I love the innovations that Moerman make but they fail in execution most of the time. The dry walker is very well though out though combining the best of both worlds with the plastic mop holder and material squeegee holder. The issue is always moving parts as well, just like with the Ettore contore pro that would always break the spring or clips. We have to always weigh up cost vs benefit vs time spent replacing/fixing tools.

    Great review I got mine yesterday I cleaned my whole house with it today the only thing I didn't like is the squeegee compartments are really tight they should have been a little bigger and when you kneel down inside a house you got to be careful because it hits the hardwood floors and kind of almost tips over

      It's an awesome hip bucket. So modular. I use mostly Wagtail High fliers 18, 12, 6". All fit great in it in different configurations. My Wagtail angle handle lives in the small front hole like it was made for it.

    The question that I have is when the squeegees are in it does the squeegee rub up against the plastic or whatever is there so that the squeegee rubber gets a little nick in it like most bucking on a belt

    • @andrewloya76
      @andrewloya76 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No. It's been great.
      The 2 different compartments (mop and underneath) make it easy to dump out water when they start to fill up. I used the Samurai previously because of the front mop position, but the Mormon BOAB holds the channels more securely so they don't clank around while you're working.
      I highly recommend this.

    How does it do to hold solution? My T bar usually lives in my bucket, in some situations it will be put in the Samurai hip bucket. For the most part my 18", and 12" HF will be used to scrub the glass. There are times when I'll have the 18"HF and 18" Excelerator, along with a 12" and 6" HF on me. Today the old 12" Moerflip( Moerman channel in a Backflip) was used on a job only.

    Thanks Stevo! I’ve been waiting for you or Jordie to leave a review on this lol. Quick question, would the excelerator (w/ liquidator or ettore channel) fit in the back pocket where you were putting your 14” or 18” channels?

  • @fensterputzernuernbergerlangen
    @fensterputzernuernbergerlangen 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It looks good. And you present it well ,,,, i trust what your saying . but having 4 squeegees and other gear on your belt is IMO overkill especailly on a hot day .. BUT i think this may be a winner because of the fact 1 ) no nicking the rubber 2) squeegees do not rattle when you walking ( great for inside commercial jobs . office etc .. ) it comes over as a good fit on the waist .. the big question is will it last ? my Unger old school 2 squeegee BOAB has been going 15 years and still going strong..

    • @highabovetn
      @highabovetn 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just got mine in today and I currently have been using the samurai for a month and before that I had an Unger for 5 years. The part I like about what you said is that it will hold the tools tight instead of rattling and possibly falling out like has happened with my Samurai. I’m excited to try it just for that reason.

    • @fensterputzernuernbergerlangen
      @fensterputzernuernbergerlangen 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@highabovetn Exactly if it does what it says... that and that alone may be enough reason to buy it for a solicitors office etc.. but problem is many people showing videos or commenting on them have a connection to the object being sold and so the vaildity may be diluted because it is not an honest and forthright review. but i some how trust Steve what hes saying..

    seems redundant because it holds fliqs but if your using fliqs you dont need to hold sqeegees and if your holding squeegees then you need to hold a tbar. and the fliqs in the way. but i didnt know these are designed to hold a squeegee with a fliq like a tbar. thats cewl

    this thing totally looks like its not meant to be used as a primary boab. or with a tbar at all. I would use it as a secondary boab all together. for fliqs with the ability to switch squeegees around or store them in the extra slots on the secondary. I would holster this on the left. with a fliq. and use the regular boab on the right with a tbar and squeegee without a fliq pad. The holsters are designed I think to hold the fliq pads and channels by unclipping one end and letting them hang.. which drain into the drip pan. thats why theres a drip pan. and i would use fairy soap so you could be a real johnny walker. tee hee for people who are literally not following. here. imgur.com/a/pDudkVq Here's what the drywalker is for.. switching out mops. mop switching. pretty sure you can prime a few with you it. literally shows you can carry up to 4. without having to go back to the bucket. or 3 and the fliq excelerator itself. like i said i wouldnt tbar there. not plastic nor aluminum. they dont even make aluminum. lol. a plastic swivel. maybe. but nah. yeh not a plastic swivel tbar either hahahahaha

    • @typerightseesight
      @typerightseesight 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      remember boabs are designed to be buckets on a belt your suppose to unclip one end and dangle it in the bucket to soap up more soap while you use the other one. youve got 2. to go back and forth from. when you buy this boab you want to buy the fliq excelerator and 1 or 2 extra channels and mops. der. :p
