Wieder ein sehr interessanter Vergleich. Mir gefällt das Oktava auch gut-den Spitzenplatz nimmt jedoch das Schoeps ein. Ich meine, daß es vorallem beim Bach doch ein wenig feiner aufnimmt. And by the way: Sehr schön gespielt, Klaus ! Danke.

Danke für das Lob! Ich bin natürlich auch etwas voreingenommen. Denke aber, dass man mit allen Mikros (mit dem InvoTone vielleicht am schwierigsten) passable aufnahmen machen kann. Aber wenn man schon mal ein Schoeps in der Kiste findet...:-)

Hi Klaus, thanks for your interesting post. It might be very subjectice, but trying to be objective in the meaning of listening to the parameters you mentioned, I like most the Oktava, it has a warm , full sound with a great clarity of the voicings, the Schöps is even more brilliant with a touch to the higher notes, and therefore less warmness. The Rode is a little bit of all, but not so precise in clarity, and the Invotone less clear. But they all work well, with adding some EQ you can work with them very well. Please note, this is my subjective perception in my room with my boxes....! ;-)

I vote for Rode NT5 :) I think it is better balanced, but I am recording classical guitar with it as well so I am a bit biased :)

The Rode NT5 was my first Mic. So I'm with you. You can do great recordings with it.
