Tableau 1 - Raymonda　
中世の南フランス、ブロヴァンス地方。美しい令嬢ライモンダの誕生日を祝う宴が開かれています。騎士ジャン・ド・ブリエンヌは、許嫁のライモンダに婚約の証であるヴェールを手渡して十字軍に出征します。ライモンダは自室で友人のクレメンス、ヘンリエット、ベランジュ、ベールナールたちの前で、ジャンのことを想い琴を奏でます。ひとりになったライモンダは眠りにつき、夢の中でジャンと再会し、ふたりは互いの愛情を確かめ合うのでした。
Provence region, southern France in the Middle Ages. A feast is being held to celebrate the birthday of the beautiful Raymonda. She receives news from her fiancé Knight, Jean de Brienne, who is returning to the Crusades. Raymonda sees a vision of Jean in her room with her friends Clemence, Henriette, Beranger and Bernard. Raymonda, falls asleep and is reunited with Jean in a dream, and the two confirm each other's affection.

ジャン・ド・ブリエンヌとライモンダの結婚式がお城でおこなわれます。ハンガリー風のダンスで締めくくられ、ふたりは永遠の愛を誓い合うのでした。
The wedding of Jean de Brienne and Raymonda is held in the castle. The wedding festivies are concluded by a stunning Hungarian Dance and their affections are confirmed.
